I enjoyed it initially, but its flaws do tend to multiply when I think back on it.

I don't think I've ever seen him write a big event, so I don't know how he'd do with one. He definitely works well with longer, more complex plots, though. That's something events generally don't have going for them.

He did Batman: Officer Down and Bruce Wayne: Murderer and Fugitive. He also did the Catwoman and Gotham Central issues of War Crimes. But he wasnt one of the main writers for that, which is probably why it is the worst of the three events (I didnt really mind the other two).

He also worked on Coup d'Etat for Wildstorm, but I didn't read that.

I'm thinking something like the movie costume. I'm pretty sure the main reason they're doing this is because of the movies.

And Venom doesn't count. EVERYONE has beaten Venom. Hercules beat Venom. Invisible Woman beat Venom. A LIGHTER beats Venom.

Probably the same suit he's been wearing for years. Even after Stark got the Extremis upgrade, his armor essentially LOOKED the same.

His Extremis armor is portrayed on the cover to the first issue, even though I believe he should've moved back to his pre-Extremis armor since losing his Extremis powers. There are subtle differences between the two:

Not that I've heard. Marvel's got World War Hulks going on at the same time as Siege, so I imagine the Hulk will be relegated to his own family of titles.

Ah yes, I can see how they look slightly different. I just assumed the design was the same pre and post Extremis, it's not until you've put the two side by side like this that I noticed the slight differences. And for further comparison, here's the movie armor as it will look in Iron Man 2:
