I really hope Clint becomes Hawkeye again & leaves NA just because Bendis writes him bad.... Like most characters that Bendis has in NA.

The issue of "The List" with Ronin as the focus made Clint look pretty badass. I don't really have a problem with how Bendis writes him.

Have you read much of Hawkeye from before Bendis started writing him? There's nothing wrong with how Bendis writes him in theory, it's just not right for Hawkeye, as far as I'm concerned.

I thought it made him look foolish going into Avengers Tower alone like that considering Cap trained him. You would think he would take a more tactful approach.

Being trained by Cap didn't really curb that hot head streak of Clint's. Leading the Avengers and then the T-Bolts did that. He knew better.

Well, he could of easily put someone like Punisher or Moon Knight on the team. Hell, if Frank was on New Avengers it could of saved us from this Frankencastle BS.

Hercules is an avenger, and he has killed men in the old greek myth days for looking at him wrong.

But at least Hercules feels bad about it and is changing his ways about the killing. Even Bucky has killed as an assassin, but he doesn't want to go back on that route. Steve Rogers killed Nazis in World War II, but he doesn't kill now.

Wolverine on the other hand feels bad about it and continues killing and even being part of the X-Men's assassination squad. That isn't Avengers material.

Some of us hope he would die because you can't top the awesomeness hes been doing lately. Some want him to escape and go undercover and some want him to return as Spider-man villain.

why would you just end a character after such a prime reign?

too much has been made of elevating osborn to just thrw him away...

He'll be back when this is done..after a couple years of course. When he does he should be represented as the Doom level threat he now is.

Doubt we'll see him busting open banks in SoHo after this.

I doubt it will really be THE end even if they kill him off. If he's not staying dead from before, I really doubt he'll be staying dead after a death in Siege

Yeah I do expect a death too..hopefully at spidey's hands (or iron man)

But he'll be back.

As for Punisher on the Avengers...

Punisher is like an upper tier soldier, he'd probably have a problem working next to lame civilians for any extended period. I couldnt see Frank and somebody like Firestar fighting side by side.


Another idea would be to round up some proffesionals and put them on a team with Frank...like US Agent, Black Widow, Deadpool, Paladin, etc...

Frank would fit nicely into a team like the T-bolts...although he'd kill half of them eventually.

Punisher is getting in Mark Millar's Ultimate Avengers atleast. Maybe Marvel will copy that from the Ultimate Universe in a few years lol.
