Siege

I came buckets :awesome:

Such a beautiful picture.

I hope Cap tears up ASSborn's faceplate like he did Tony in CW, Thor fries the armor, Tony kicks him around and completely destroys the armor and Spidey finishes the job by kicking the crap out of a naked Osborn.

I really like Siege the book...but the "tie ins" have just been horribly handled. Marvel needs to stop it with these lofty offset chronilogical stories, its creating continuity issues and unreadability.

Speaking of which, I read issue 1 of DoomWar today. How are they saying all of this is unfolding? Every Marvel hero is involved with Fall of The Hulks. The Black Panther and a lot of X-Men are taking on Doom in that massive international story. Siege is trying up everyone including Doom. How is Doom front and center in all three epic stories?

The Siege tie-ins have been awful. I may even start skipping them. I already dropped Siege: Frontline. Seeing Diamondback and Constrictor inject themselves between panels of Siege in the Initiative book is a joke.

I see your Vader vs Doom & raise you a...

meh Deadpool.:whatever:

I actually paid a friend of mine to paint Spider-Man vs. Darth Vader. It's pretty sick. I can't even imagine the kind of **** that went down to make that happen.

Don't forget. Doom has a Time Machine and a **** load of Doombots.

And I'm pretty sure Boris uses an Ipad.

This is terribly amazing. I LOVED the ending to Siege #2. I can just see Cap lining up the shield and letting it loose. Perfection. I'm glad Steve is back for this single reason.

But, E-Man, Spoons and myself talked on Superhero Skype! about Siege

[BLACKOUT]Dark Avengers has The Void coming back. SO, eventually the Siege of Asgard is...pointless. Literally pointless. They'll all unite against the Void and it'll end really stupidly.[/BLACKOUT]

How come there is no love for Osborn?!
Because he's a dick who took over the country and previously threw a perfectly innocent girl off a bridge? That and Marvel's been shoving him down our throats in every book they have right now?

Am i the only one who still really really wants to Spiderman to come through at the end and throw the final punch? HE THREW GWEN STACY OFF A BRIDGE!! Hasn't Spidey earned this victory at this point?

Like Peter gives a s*** about the women in his life.

^Ohhh snap!

that's very true tho, plus now Gwen was a who-er who got it on with normie..petey's revenge is way less important now

Probably. This story is about Cap, Thor, and Iron Man, as far as I'm concerned. Spider-Man doesn't even need to be there.

Aw Corp, you're breakin my heart man. Even though you're probably right, this could be spidey's one chance to redeem himself, but i know its prolly gonna be Tony and Steve taking Osborn down in the end.

Uh...years of mediocrity for one. He's been marvel's chump for a while now.

Spidey should at least get a page or two of him going one on one with Osborn, handing out a nice beatdown. The whole ending is gonna be about Sentry not Osborn.

Sales seem to indicate that people think his post-OMD comics are anything but mediocre. He seems to have risen to be Marvel's flagship character again--or at least he's sharing the title with Wolverine.

Am I the only one who, when viewing awesome group shots like the above, is always a little disheartened by Daredevil's perpetual absence in these types of things? While I am grateful for how DD doesn't have to put up with a lot of the crap that goes on in crossovers and events seeping into his own book, at the same time I also occasionally wish he'd be tied a little bit more to the greater Marvel U so he could get a moment or two of his own on a bigger stage.

Anxious to see how ardently the upcoming "Shadowland" event is marketed because of this.

As far as I'm concerned, the more characters left out of crossovers, the better. I know crossovers are good for Marvel financially, but I'm opposed to them because I prefer self-contained stories. I don't like reading fractions of stories and being forced to read titles I'm usually ambivalent about just to get the whole story. I only put up with it because I know what I'm getting into when I read a comic that takes place in a shared universe.

DD has barely been a part of any of Marvel's big events. He was barely in Civil War and WWH and..................that's it. It's like Punisher Max, just seems to be in another universe.

Yeah, that's my point. I love DD, so the more he pops up, the happier I am. I realize his absence in events isn't anything new, I'm just saying it's always been a double-edged sword for me. On the one hand, I love that these events don't interfere with the flow of story progression going on in his own title. On the other hand, though, I can't help but wanting to see him somehow participate in the climactic beat-down that inevitably occurs in these types of things.
