Oh, you'd absolutely hate my run of Amazing Spider-Man if I was ever given free reign with the character. Human Torch and Iceman cameos, Peter and MJ decide to start dating again, completely off-the-wall new villains that'd turn the comic into an acid trip, Spider-Man gets treated like a celebrity by ordinary people because he hangs out with the Avengers and Fan4, Reed Richards uses his pull in the scientific community to get Peter a good job working as a lab assistant for a colleague.

But nobody would read it and I'd go down in history as one of the worst Spider-Man writers of all time because of the lack of wangst.

Ugh....that sounds absolutely terrible......since you're not writing it for Marvel....were do I send you your check, I want this direction YESTERDAY! t:

In all seriousness, I think it would be a nice progression for ol' Spidey, I mean we could have a few negative Narwhals (wait...what?), but overall, all the times he's been seen alongside with the FF -who can do no wrong in the public- and the Avengers would boost him up greatly in terms of public opinion. And it would be nice to see him working in a scientific field again. It would be a bold new direction, but I think it could be nicely done without violating Pete at his core. I mean I know we have to keep certain things the same and within certain boundaries, but characters need to grow, and every once in a while, they need to get thrown the proverbial bone....or diamond studded key to the happiness vault. t:

picked up the Siege #1 director's cut. You can tell Marvel's really trying to get as much info on Thor and the Asgardians out there as possible with the added pre-story

Cause Coipel can barely a make a deadline. I mean his stuff's awesome, but he's struggling getting Siege in on time. You can always count on JRJR on making deadlines.

Coipel was the regular artist on Avengers briefly a few years ago, during Geoff Johns' run.

Cause Coipel can barely a make a deadline. I mean his stuff's awesome, but he's struggling getting Siege in on time.

Yeah, If Thor is an indication, minis seem to be best for Coipel (then againt the Thor hold-up could've been JMS).

It was both, from all indications. Siege #4 has already been delayed, and I can't imagine that it's because of Bendis.

OH GEE RH you REALLY want the book to become late after so many issues?
I LOVE Coipel's work and I think a Tales of Asgard on going Bi-monthly would be great for him.

It means you're both crazy because JR Jr.'s been one of the most consistently amazing artists in the comic industry for the past 25 years or so.
