Siege

Siege: Loki was unexpected. I didn't know too much about the character but this issue was good.

not read it yet..does it give more insight into loki's reasons for what he's orchestrated?

One of the things I love about Loki is that he really doesn't need much of a reason to do things beyond just thinking they might be fun. Prerogative of a trickster god. I'd be cool if he just saw Osborn sitting pretty on top of the world, read his mind or used magic to view his past or whatever, and just thought it would be a bit of sordid fun to have him tear his own life apart by feeding his neuroses.

That is pretty much what he is doing ain't he? But also using Ossie for his own gains.

I think it's been shown in other books too though, i'm sure it has. Like Loki whispering in Norman's ear here and there.

Oh, he's got big plans.

They just aren't revealed yet and will be in the next Thor issue as well as Siege.

Also, all these Siege: Character 1-shots end with them in the same pose and it's really, really annoying.

Just to give a heads up, Siege: Spider-Man is a complete mislabel. It has NOTHING to do with Siege. It's just an ish of Spidey and Ms Marvel fighting Venom together, and even that takes place on the streets of Broxton. And even that is done in a pretty lame way.

If you're hoping for anything more significant than that, you'll be sorely disappointed.

Anything focusing on Fakenom ends up being disappointing. Since you clearly have the issue, without spoiling, tell me something, anything, about this new Venom, plzorz.

Really?

They should just kill all the Venoms and keep Anti Venom. Anti Venom is 10000x the character any other Venom has ever been.

Because I don't read Spider-Man comics. Just 'cause I know about the one-shots doesn't mean I'm automatically reading all of them.

Spider-Man died like two years ago. Everything else is made up gobbledegook.

Spider-Man died like two years ago.

Died, shmied. Him and his wife are just off having ballin' adventures with Cassandra Cain, Linda Danvers, Superboy's personality, and Arsenal's right arm.

Incidentally, Arsenal's right arm has already had sex with everybody in the cast.

If there's one good thing about Arsenal's dismemberment it's that they can now portray him as Arsenal the One-Armed Man****e.

Umm, the new Venom is completely lame, as is the whole issue. General enough for ya?

And for those who do want specifics but don't want to waste money on a crappy issue,
I won't tell you who it is but I will say that the issue focuses on Spidey, venom, and MS MARVEL. And there's someone in it who turns into Venom, who hasn't before. That's as specific as I'll get :cwink:

They need to just make Eddie Brock Venom again and rework him to not be lame anymore.

Na Eddie should stay as Anti Venom.

And Random Havoc...

By Ms Marvel do you mean Moonstone? Or Carol?

I'm sure it's Carol. Her and Spidey have had an odd relationship going on for a while now and it's never mentioned in ASM.:cmad:

Yep, it's Carol's turn to f*** Spider-Man now that he's single. Marriage is for suckers, son! :awesome:

Hey i totally wouldn't blame him.

I know if i was a fictional character occupying the MU i'd give it a go ;)
