Silver Surfer and other Spin-off heroes...

Now that I've seen FF:ROTSS, I don't think I'm giving too much away when I say that I smell spinoff.

That said, what are some other cool characters that you think would more likely be introduced in someone else's movie before they got their own?

Venom...Namor, if Story gets his way and gets to do him in F4 3...Inhumans, also coming from an F4 sequel...for DC, I think Swamp Thing would work best if introduced in the Constantine sequel, and then spun off...

There's a glut already in the Superhero movie (especially Marvel), and a lot of main superheros and their sequels are not yet out. Quality, friends.. not quantity.

I can see Namor starting off in his own movie without going thru FF. I think they were gearing up for that not long ago, with David Self penning the script(s?).

I feel they should take a lot of these spinoff/ standalone concepts and- instead of making a spinoff/ standalone film- make an Avengers film with them. Wolverine and the Silver Surfer can be standalone/ spinoffs, sure. As for Hawkeye, Namor, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, She-Hulk...these are guys who could make for a good Avengers movie. Add in Goliath and The Wasp in the mix, as it's doubtful they'd ever get their time to shine otherwise, and you've got a movie that doesn't rely on big-name characters while emeshing good concepts in a single medium.
