Silver Surfer: Too Soon?

I think brining in Silver Surfer was a great idea. The first one was more of an introduction thats all like X-men 1. The sequal to X-men 2 is what made X-men 3 all the money, because as far as im concern X-men 3 was not that great but I still enjoyed it. Fantastic Four rise of Silver Surfer is going to be one of those better number 2's and will provide a better number 3; plus a spin off for My favorite character.

No it's about time Silver Surfer is going to be on the big screen. Galactus is perfect for part 3 of the fantastic four as well. It also gives Silver Surfer the chance to star in his own movie, go into his world and show how he became the Silver Surfer. Its the perfect time. No worries just enjoy the movie

I think Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer will do the same #'s as X-Men United, but better, close to 300 or 300+ domestically. I don't think it's too soon as long as they have the story right.

I don't think they're rushing into the Silver Surfer thing. They need to get him in there before they decide to not make any more.

If they are planning on giving the Silver Surfer his own solo movie then the time is right. It helps to launch that franchise and it helps for people to realize the scope of the Fantastic Four and the world that they reside in. This helps them to be able set up things like the Inhumans, Negative Zone etc. as it delves deeper into the type of superheroes that they are. Interstellar, globe trotting adventurers that will face the unknown to gather knowledge. Now on June 15th we will know if they made a mishap but I don't think that they have.

I don't think it is too soon to bring in Silver Surfer I have been hoping he would get a film and hopefully this will mean he gets a spin off.

Par for the course in these Marvel movies...do the words "Dark Phoenix" ring a bell? :csad:

Really, there's not going to be a decent adaptation until we get an actual TV series, that has the leisure to develop the characters and situations while allowing an adjustable number of episodes for villains as they're merited. Can you imagine seeing Reed working on reaching the Negative Zone as a subplot for half a season?
