Honestly, I think the Simpsons and southpark creators are just mad because Familyguy has gained much more popularity than them as of late.

South Park is right now better than both, simpsons people think they riped off simpsons, wich is very true.
Family Guy is just a 2nd quality simpsons

Family guy was cool it's first 2 or 3 seasons. Then when they brought it back after cancelation they just began to suck! Are they even trying anymore? I know it's been known for it's out-of-nowhere references but come on! At least the references use to make sense some what. And then throwing out tired gags like evil monkey or naked-deaf-greased-guy? That's just desperation at it's finest.

And the whole Griffin family has become caricatures of their pre-cancelation selfs.

Peter went from bumbling-yet-lovable father to complete ******.

Lois went from cute mom to sex-craved skank.

AND MEG!!! MY GOD!!! She went from akward middle child to the person EVERYONE hates who is so desperate for attention she goes PSYCHO!!! MAN!!!

Despite what you think of the recent seasons of the Simpsons, at least it stays true to their characters and still manages to be funnier than half the "comedies" on t.v.

That's because simpsons became more of a kids show but the characters from the simpsons are still more likeable than the ones from family guy.
I still prefer to watch the simpsons but besides south park, american dad is the other show that i think is still funny

I really hope that's sarcasm. I thought Family Guy was great until it came back from cancellation (again) only to pull those ******ed musical numbers. That and the loop of Peter or someone holding their knee and going "shh ahh" over and over. On top of some really bland or just plain terrible episodes. Not all of them stink but that's the worst of it.

Thats how I like them now. That gets all jumbled up compared to what season your comparing.

Thats how I like them now. Its as much my mood as anything. I agree that Family Guy has taken a fall lately but I always seem to watch older episodes anyway. American Dad and South Park are both up there for me.

The Simpsons in it hey day was the best. Family at it's best just, JUST, falls short of the simpsons at its prime.

But, right now, I'll go with Family Guy over the last 8 years. The Simpsons is getting some of its best back though.
