Yeah, the movie is bad unto itself. As a movie about the Spirit, it is another level of torture.

I doubt there will be a third one.....but I will say that I liked the second more than the first.

I hated the second one so much I'm actually afraid to revisit the first.

I have good memories of the first, but I also saw it in my early teens so I don't know if I was just simple to please back then.

Sin City 2 was one of the worst in-theater experiences I've ever had. One of the few times it felt like I was being punished while viewing a movie that I paid to see.

If Eva Green's boobs are a punishment, then I'm doing down, down, down as the flames go higher.

Part 2 is really flat, but I still love the first one. I'd love to see them do Hell and Back as a either a black and white live action film sans the stylised green screen, or a straight up animated flick.

Not just a slap in the face to Eisner, a slap in the face to film. That movie is just horrible horrible, incompetent filmmaking.

I guess just a preference for less is more. I felt the first one was just a little too much over the top with everything.
