After hearing that there will be sequels to the 1996 hit box office smash Independence Day and that these sequels we could be seeing them as early as next year as early as 2016 it begs the question of just who from the original cast will be coming back? I doubt Will Smith comes back for the sequel because from what I hear the only way he will come back is if he is given a huge payday but then there are other characters like Bill Pullman's character of President Whitmore, Jeff Goldblum's character of David, Randy Quaid's character and Vivica A Fox's character
But even more so there was the children of Independence Day like Whitmore's daughter who I am sure in the sequel she would be all grown up in her 20s and then Will Smith's step-son Vivica A Fox's son in the film he would be all grown up as well in his 20s too so I wonder if those children would come back or if they would be re-cast?
Either way I just hope the Independence Day sequels live up to their hype since it has been long anticipated
