If Marvel doesn't introduce The Punisher in one of these Netflix shows, that'd be a huge mistake!! They gotta introduce the guy, he's one of the greatest characters in the Marvel Universe.

Daredevil Is the natural way to introduce the Punisher. He's, for me, the only superhero That work with Frank Castle. I don't Know If they will, on the other hand, introduce him in the first season. Maybe, but If they can't, they have to introduce him in the next step of the Daredevil storyline. Both character work very well together

Since the DD TV series has been described as having a gritty 1970s New York feel, that would be a perfect place for Punisher. He never seemed quite at home in Miami in the Thomas Jane movie. NY is his stomping ground, especially a 1970s-esque NY. Give us some graffiti on the trains please! None of this cleaned up city that Rudolph Giuliani gave us. His work needs to be undone for the MCU!

he was in Tampa in the movie, he actually does go to Florida in the comics to kill people involved in his family's death.

Yeah, he just looks like he was BORN to play the role, IMO. My only worry is that they'd rule him out because he's older. But I think the Punisher can work as an older guy... he's supposed to be a grizzled war vet who disappears for a number of years after his family is murdered and then resurfaces, so I think it could be okay.

If they don't go with Holt, I guess Mangianello would be my second choice, since Frank Grillo won't happen.

Does Marvel have any plans to use Herc in a movie though? It seems like they'd avoid that character since we just had two Hercules movies and neither one did very well.

Grillo would've been one helluva Punisher. I like Karl Urban as Punisher. He as Dredd just sold me as a possible Punisher pick. Manganiello needs to be some kind of superhero one day. Bernthal I think should be the next Wolverine.

I like the idea of Milo as Jigsaw.

I like Herc in the comics from the few appearances I've encountered, but I doubt we'll ever see him in the MCU. Hercules has literally been done hundreds across different media. Any portrayal of Herc will seem derivative.

The counter-argument there is "Thor is the exact similar case. So why not Herc?". The counter to the counter-argument would be that Marvel Thor (even before 2011) had a much higher pop cultural profile than the mythological Thor. In the case of Hercules, it's the other way around.

yeah, but you could introduce him in a Thor movie, maybe have him be in Avengers movie down the line, or buddy movie with Hulk, and if he goes over well then possibly solo film. In an ideal world we'd see the Greg Pak Hercules on the big screen, what a lovable oaf
