Here's a question: if we do get a return of Doctor Octopus to lead the Sinister Six, who would you like to see play him? I'm actually really fond of the idea of Mads Mikkelson taking the role.

Now that I've written it, I'm really starting to like it. The problem is that likely Doc Ock, if he'll be in TASM3 and/or TASM4 would need to be at least introduced in TASM3. His character wouldn't be the main in that movie by any means. Would Depp have an issue having a minor role or just a cameo, but of course this would all lead to TASM4 where he is the leader?

The thing I like about Depp for this role is that he has kind of the look and his acting range is crazy. Whoever the leader of the Sinister Six is the actor will need to be a big name and a known actor. Kind of like Downey's Ironman in Avengers. Depp could pull that off big time!!!

I hope Feore is Toomes and then Vulture, he looks perfect for the role.

Jackie Earl Haley for Carnage

I think it all depends on which Doc Ock they go with.

If it is classic Doc Ock then they could have the arm harness bulky, to give him that look.

If it is USM (Comic) Doc Ock then it's not an issue.

Depp could be a huge asset to whichever movie has Doc Ock. His name alone would drive fans to see the film! Plus it might be exciting to him since I can't remember a time he was cast as the villain...

WAY TO SOON for a Sinister 6. If they introduce Shocker, Vulture, Scorpian or Mysterio all in a film then how the hell are they possibly going to give them depth and characterization?

ASM2 - Rhino & Vulture with a post-credits scene of Green Goblin
ASM3 - Green Goblin and maybe Shocker
ASM4 - Kraven the Hunter and Mysterio
ASM5 - Sinister 6 with Rhino, Vulture, Shocker, Kraven the Hunter, Mysterio & either Doc Ock or Green Goblin leading the group
ASM6 - Venom & Carnage

^ They can easily pull of the Sinister Six for ASM3 by doing the following:

- Introduce two of the villains in ASM2 (Electro & Rhino)
- Introduce the leader in ASM2 (Goblin - I know, fanboys want Doc Ock)
- Introduce the person who will be the Vulture in ASM2 (not the villain yet)
- They could use the Lizard as one of the S6 (forced to be part of it)
- They could use the Black Cat as "somewhat of a baddie", until she switches sides.

This is an easy way to get to the 6 for ASM3.

Shocker not needed.

Scorpian not needed.

Mysterio not needed (though wanted).

Even Doc Ock not needed (though again, wanted).

Ummm... Venom and Carnage would need to be in two different films. Venom should have his own flick with Carnage being created at the end or during an after credits scene. The then the Maximum Carnage movie would be huge and even have Venom as an anti-hero working "with" parker to stop Carnage.

I think Webb & Company are sending out hint what is about to happen next with that pic of Avi sitting under the Sinister 6...and I think I got a hint what may transpire.

When Spidey defeats Electro, Norman realize he need to arm a group of specially train men, to kill Spidey, in turn stopping Spidey from exposing Oscorps unethical experiments, and secret underworld operations. Norman proceed to send a team of five after Spidey, who struggles against them, still defeating them however...because the team does not work well together, and are easily out-smarted. In the meantime, the battle gave Norman the opportunity to discover Spidey's identity.

So Norman take it upon himself, to appoint himself as the Leader & sixth member of TS6! In the mist of the battle is when Norman wits matches Peter's, as Norman bring some strategy and organization to the team, as this time the team is on the verge of defeating/killing Spidey...while Norman hold & reveal his Ace Card against Spidey.......Gwen Stacy! That is what changes the outcome of Spidey's battle with TS6. His rage and desperation to save Gwen is what turns the tables; but, in Norman recognition that Spidey is overcoming the team, and his own desperation to get away, does something mysteriously, before dropping Gwen from the bridge. Peter, in his attempt to save Gwen, in fact saves her dead body, and the mystery begin...was she already dead or did Spidey indirectly kill her.

After seeing that who they choose to be Norman I had this crazy idea with the storys ways it might go, I kinda thought with the glasses and the look of the guy at the end of TASM that the guy in the dark is Doc Ock im sure others have thought of this

Then then I am a giant Venom fan would love to see him reintroduced in some sort of fashion either Eddie or Harry but was thinking with cliff hangers and the introduction of Lizards stuff in the first, we don't expect sinister 6 until the 4th movie and rumors of Venom spin off still flying around and now the news of possible Carnage introduction.

I wouldnt be surprised if we don't get the classic Sinister 6 maybe a Venom or Carnage added to the group of villans instead if they made changes, I thought wouldn't it be cool if Spidey needed a power up to handle Electro thus introducing the black suit or introduce the black suit by the end of TASM2 to lead as a cliff hanger for TASM3 this way you wouldnt have to spend the start of the movie in TASM3 to introduce the symboite or black suit, in any case I thought by TASM4 hes gonna need help with Sinister 6 I know Black Cats there but if you introduced Venom turned him by the end of 3 and let Carnage join Sinister 6 you could kinda lead up to that Venom spin off with Carnage being Venoms main baddie or even just have Venom start off the villian in 3 but forced to turn casue of Carnage at the end of 3, but just a thought though all this different news has had so many ideas floating round in my head

First, Venom and/or Carnage as part of the Sinister Six would be terrible, and such a waste of two characters that deserve their own future movies!

I created this thread months ago when I came to the realization that a Sinister Six movie was where they are heading to. I've been beaten up by some, and embraced by others over the idea. I've detailed it pretty well how Rhino, who we know won't be featured too much in this movie, will be available, then we of course have the Goblin (who I think will be the leader of the S6), Electro could make it, Vulture is likely, and then you can play with the other two spots with either "good guys" starting off as bad (Lizard and/or Black Cat) or others, like a hired tracker (Kraven). I've even previously talked about how the Black Suit could be part of this story (likely in #3, not #2).

The point is that I think people are starting to finally see what I've seen... Sinister Six makes sense. Not for ASM2, but for #3.

I think what some have written above is effectively what I've been saying, except I think the S6 will be formed after Gwen is dead, which will likely happen at the end of #2. So it will be that after Goblin and/or his forces (Rhino and/or Electro) are defeated at the end of TASM2, he uses Gwen to escape, and then realizes he needs a group to defeat Spiderman. Thus the Sinister Six are formed!!!!! Goblin has the resources to do this!



A red herring? Maybe, but you know I for one don't think so!

i think we all know and can agree that its going to happen. hes pretty much telling us with rhino. he says he's in the film in a very short and calculated way. more of a tease for things to come.

1. Rhino (Paul Giamatti)
2. Green Goblin (Chris Cooper)
3. Electro (Jamie Foxx)
4. Vulture (Colm Feore)
5. Spider-Slayer (BJ Novak)
6. Either Shocker (Lief Gantvoort)

I was thinking of Mysterio as a possibility but then I realized that Michael Massee is too old and he's more likely to be Silvermane.

ASM3 also includes the Black Suit. ASM4 is about Venom. ASM5 is about Carnage.
