"Jew" is definitely not a slur. The most common racial slur for Jews is "****."

All I know is I've heard a fair number of people who dislike Jewish people use the term Jew to indicate said Jewish people and their dislike thereof.

I've also heard a fair number of Jewish people and non-Jewish people with no particular dislike of Jewish people use the term as a totally non-loaded term for referring to Jewish people.

Like Darth said, it's one that relies upon context.

Like I used to play cards with this guy who whenever he started losing at cards, he'd start going about how he was "getting totally Jewed."* I think it's pretty safe to say he considered Jew to be a slur. Or okay he didn't consider much of anything, cause he was an idiot, but that's how he was using it.

*The great thing about cards as a pastime is you're not obligated to actually like any of the other people playing. In fact the less, the better.
