I just hope they get rid of that stupid Stamina system. I know it makes gameplay more realistic or whatever but I don't like it that much. Did Smackdown vs. Raw 2008 have it?

Just watched the create a finisher video, I really like it. At first I thought it was going to be pre made motions, as in pick completely up for powerbomb, then powerbomb and get up, then taunt. Instead it's each logical next step in a motion, so your really doing one finisher, maybe 2, but it's highly customizable, so you can make a very unique finisher rather than a cookie cutter series of motions.

I'm also liking the graphics. Since it's for next gen only they can up the graphics rather than worrying about graphics that will translate to the PS2. Because that hurt create a character (atleast in 2008), you could see some of the misplaced and incomplete pixels, especially in hair that wasn't pulled back.

Actually I'm thinking of the 2007 version when I'm talking about cheaters. I forgot entirely I have 2008 and started playing it online, and it's actually an improvement. If someone disconnects, it comes up on their score that they lost the match, so there's a lot less "cheating" which is excellent.

After spending a while playing 2008 online, it's a big improvement over 2007. If someone leaves the game early, then they lose. Though it's still a pain in the ass if you're having a battle royal and the first guy to go out is a sore loser so disconnects, meaning everyone else just comes to a draw, ruining a good match. Or if you're having a title match, and a sore loser disconnects, you don't get any prestige points for the title you're defending.

Title matches are great fun. I made a title, had 12 succesful defenses in a row, lost the title in a REALLY close match, socialised quite a lot with the guy during it, created a bunch of titles and let him beat me to win them so he could get an achievement, then we had a rematch for my original title and I WON IT BACK!!! In another very, very close match! We were both laughing our heads off It's odd how video games have become this social thing between people across seas. I texted him and said I'll give him another rematch for it.

But yeah, my title is now... 4300 something in the title leader board.

Is that impressive? Or has any online player been there at some point?
