Add to the bad the terrible posture. She looked way to stiff, like the outfit was uncomfortable which I'm sure it was, but it's not supposed to look that way.

My overall take on Black Canary...HIT or MISS

Physique: HIT - I felt her build was just fine. She didn't appear thin or frail at all and looked athletic. Very plausible as a superheroine should look.

Sex Appeal: MISS - Although Alaina is pretty, she wasn't as sexy hot as I would have expected..

Costume: HIT - A very nice amalgam of her various looks over the years. Pretty cool look to her when in action. The fishnet-stockings were right-on.

Make-up Mask: MISS - They really didn't need the mask, but surprisingly it didn't bother me as much as I thought it would.

Moves: HIT - She was kicking butt left and right. It couldn't have been done better at this point.

Canary Cry: MISS - I loved the sonic wave effect, but I wish they kept the high pitch cry like in the commercial.

Voice: HIT - There is a sultry, sexy quality to her voice. Almost matches Morena Baccarin's voice from JLU.

Secret Identity: HIT - As far as having an alter-ego, simply amazing. The two characters look nothing alike.

Haircut: HIT - Although long hair could have pushed up the sex appeal, the short hair made her stand out from the crowd of bouncy long-haired women on Smallville.

I agree with everything except the hair. she should have worn the long blonde hair as Black Canary and short brown hair as Diana Lance but I couldn't tell the difference between the two

The siren cry should be like the one in the comercial and JLU but I'm okay with this

The mask should look like the one in ASBR, DKSA and Ledgend of Superheroes but I'm okay with this

I thought she was good interpretation even if the Canary Cry was slighty disappointing. Besides, Black Canary was more accurately potrayed than Aquaman, which was butchered by Smallville and the so called actor who played him!

That's why I said "hybrid." Bull lesbian mostly refers to the hair. But hey, at least it's not a mullet.

It's a fine line. Done correctly, short hair looks cute (pixie hair). Done incorrecly, short hair looks lesbian-esque (drill sergeant hair). In Black Canary's case, I'm afraid it's the latter.

Attempting to get back on topic...

Now that Black Canary has joined Green Arrow's Justice League, will her costume alter in any way?

I feel there will be some minor changes to the look...I also think that the next time we see her (lets hope for a season 8 appearance by the group) her hair will be longer and more fitting the character.
