They announced actors, but do we actually know what characters they are playing? Because I'm thinking some swerves are very likely. (And I'm NOT talking about alternate versions of the same character.)

People expect them to play their previous Marvel role again.

Channing Tatum is unsure if he's playing Gambit. Though he probably already read his role.
 
So no actual info yet? Okay. Not that I'm expecting much info at this stage anyway.

DD Affleck is dead
Miss Ghost Rider 2007, Hulk 2003 and Punisher 2004 to complete pre-MCU characters in this multiverse (already contains foxverse, raimiverse, webverse, venomverse, Blade, DD2003, F42005)

To focus on Avengers 616, Thor and Sam need to call back formers members at first
Rhody Hawkeye Spidey.
Antman will be in
Shangshi and Torres will probably join the team
Banner and Danvers are off-earth
Wanda and Vision are missing

Except Kamala, Bishop, Cassy who are working on young avengers, it remains a lot of new characters to recruit
 
According to Chris Claremont
Lord Hydra, Scarlet Witch, Jean Grey/Phoenix and Psylocke are in it. Iron Man and the Wolverine were implied too.
 
They should stop with too many variants from others Earths
Just stop I find that ridiculous when we have already too many 616 heroes to focus on , and many would be absents make me angry

And I just hope avengers wont meet OT Xmen
Just thinking about 616 characters meeting Xmen variants and then definitive MCU Xmen later... its just ridiculous
Hope Doom will fight Xmen in their own universe, then he would go to 616 to fight Avengers Wakandans Thunderbolt F4

Okay why bother bringing those actors back if they aren't even gonna interact with the Avengers? That's like not letting Andrew/Tobey interact with Tom Holland.

The ones we saw in 838 are mostly dead.

We are getting a new variant of the Professor. One from 616 already met Beast's Kelsey Grammar.

Its not just Elizabeth, Benedict, Jon, the actress from Loki and Teyona that are going to meet FoX-Men.

It’s a lot of characters/groups/teams(and there’s so many more yet to be confirmed…) and with a ton of them coming in from different angles and with little introduction. The Russos will have their work cut out for them with an almost impossible task to try and piece together a cohesive vision for this film. I won’t be expecting brilliance that’s for sure so I would be more than pleased if they managed to somehow just stick the landing.

Invariably many of the characters will get the short hand of the stick, at least in one film in comparison to the other. It’s going to be a tough balance for sure.

Are in Doomsday! So basically the ones we saw in Shang-Chi's post credits + She-Hulk. I can't wait to finally see She-Hulk in an Avengers movie.
 
I don’t know how the line up is going to look like but from the behind the scenes pictures we saw already there could be a hint at some interesting groups of characters having scenes together. For example:
