So, any DCEU films you'd like to see Colin Trevorrow direct?

Now he's left Star Wars, the guy might be looking for work soon, so how about WB snap him up for a DCEU flick? But if so... which one?

Personally, I'd stick him with Green Lantern Corps. Seems a good fit.

The guy seems to be a bit of a workhorse rather than an auteur... but maybe that's what DC could do with for some of its projects.

Wasn't impressed by his Jurassic World, so no thanks.

I have only seen JW out of his movies, but I liked it a lot, the ending battle especially was great stuff. I think he could make a really good Lobo movie, but out of the more mainstream characters I think Green Lantern would be most appropriate for him to take on.

None.

The guy rubs me the wrong way.

No. I liked Tomorrow When The War Began and I think he should just make sequels to that.
Jurassic World was doo doo just like the rest of the series.

He isn't very good. So he is perfect for a major DCEU movie.

Can someone explain to me why people dislike Trevorrow so much? I get that Jurassic World had it's issues but I don't see why that alone makes him worthy of such disdain.

The Book of Henry.

I honestly quite liked JW. Easily the second best film of the trilogy. Trevorrow is no cinematic genius, but he'd competent, and could helm a movie that's tightly controlled by DC. I can easily see him handling an FX heavy DC film that doesn't necessarily require his input into the script.

There are other filmmakers I would try to recruit to the DCEU.

Word on the street now is that Trevorrow was overstepping his worth, like Lord & Miller, and apparently that stems back to JW. Of course, that was still overseen by Spielberg, but the guys who tried to keep it within the franchise and not another weird Jurassic movie were the same 2 writers who doubled as producers on the Apes prequel trilogy.
