yeh...so...IMO it was ok...could have been better...alot of unneeded songs for no reason but still. plus it was sort of bogged down by the fact it was the set up episode. it could turn out to be really good, depending on how it continues but it'll probably die a horrible death...which is a pitty cause it has many possibilites

i saw the last few minutes- CG looked a bit crap. and the talk of ripping time and space sounded too familiar.

if there are big spiders i am going no where near ITV next saturday.

I watched it, CG was kind of rubbish lol, but its TV not Film.
Story was ok, next week looks freaky.
Time and Space though reminded me off a too familer programe.

But yeah was ok, will watch it next week, hopefully it will pick up a bit more now that all the characters are there and scene setting is over.

I popped a thread up on this a few days before the episode aired.

Generally, I thought the episode was ok, but it was far from amazing. The CG was a bit too cartoonish for my liking too. The show in general was more family orientated in general than I'd expected.

Britain is only good at making comedys and there are not that many. The ones that are good arent on very long. Oh and reality tv which as a genre sucks. Any other type of show sucks, yeah thats right . They are either badly written, acted or have no budget and so we get left with crappy cg like this show, apparently, i dont want to watch it.

dr who is a massive success not just in the UK but around the world. ok it might not be your thing but that is by no means bad. it doesn;t matter if tv is old, it's still good. look at star trek, been on since the 60's and it's still a meaningless pile of ****e. many a good TV show has come from the UK that isn;t a comedy...New Tricks, Taggart, all those Palin travel programes, the nature documentries, etc. the list is huge. the EXACT same can be said for the US, but they have crappy comedy, and LOST and stuff like that.

so just cause it's not your thing dosne;t mean it sucks. i hate LOSTso much but i accept that it's big casue lots of people think it's a good show.
