Seriously, whats the big frackin' deal? He's getting an ongoing, which will likely not last very long. The way people whine on these forums makes me think the whole place is filled with a bunch of 4-10 year olds...Amazing Spider-Man has NOT been sucking, its had lots of top talent telling some damn good Spidey stories...oh sure Pete isn't married so thats why it sucks. We don't get MJ either sulking around whining about Peter being Spider-Man, or off jettsetting as a model. "Whaaaaa, things aren't the way I think they should be, so that means theyre bad!...Now let me go complain constantly about something I am boycotting." I'm gonna start buying 3-4 copies of Amazing just to spite these boycotters.

God, get over it already! Mary Jane was shoehorned in as his "one true love" and wife anyways. It was a stunt, pure and simple. Its not like theyre your parents getting divorced for christs sake, its fictional characters who have been together in real time around 10 years, so much less than in Marvel time. My baby sister cried less when our dog died.

With people constantly freaking out on here about Spider-Man, or Grayson becoming Batman, its suprising to see people get worked up over Brother Voodo, who someone said was the butt of jokes, getting some time to shine as opposed to being a one-note joke. Theres nothing wrong with bringing lesser characters to the forefront, I mean Dr. Strange will surely be SS again, I mean thats his character. Thats who he is. I understand the argument about Strange being a better sorcerer than BV, but didn't he abuse his power and decide to give up the title? Someone inexpierenced like Wiccan wouldn't get the title, Doom would be cool though.

Well, I was just pointing out the irony of it, but honestly, I never understand these rants that pop up from time to time. The whole point of message boards and chat rooms like these are to discuss, debate, complain, praise, belittle, joke around at, have a laugh towards, throw a ***** fit at a particular piece of medium. It's literally what they're for.

You're correct that people probably take it too seriously at times, but what can really be expected from people who are going out of their ways to post on a message board about entertainment. You're bound to get people who are passionate in what they discuss, sometimes to a pretty high degree. People can go to extremes of course, like any type of discussions, but that's just kind of things that places like this attract. It really is the concept on which these places are built upon

Seriously. Dr. Strange is awesome and who cares about Brother Voodoo? I didn't even know who he was until was in NA trying to help Stark find the fugitive Avengers.

And guess what? He couldn't even get past an illusion. How the hell is he supposed to be worthy of the SS title?

Didn't you hear? According to Bendis, just being the Sorcerer Supreme makes you more powerful. No need to, y'know, earn it like Strange did.

That said, I'm not really annoyed that Strange is no longer Sorcerer Supreme. I just wish someone more interesting had gotten the title. The Hood/Dormammu would've been pretty awesome, for one.

I really wanted the Hood or Loki to get the title of SS becuase it would have fit into DR but I'm happy just watching Loki put his plan into play. Dude is moving slowly but smoothly into being the new Odin over everything on Earth and even the Asgardians.

I don't see Balder besting Loki right now. Loki just has to many aces in place while Balder only has the Asgardians. Loki is playing Norman big time! I'm also waiting for Doom and Loki to clash becuase you know it will come down to it. I can see the REAL Avengers coming together to beat that 3 headed monster as well. Thor vs. Loki, Iron Man vs Doom, and Cap vs. Norman. It can be a way to get the team back together. Again, I was totally against DR when it first started but can't wait to see when the sky falls on Norman.

Captain America's return would logically be a big turning point in Dark Reign, since he's the one hero that could ostensibly pull the public out of its collective stupidity and make them remember that Osborn's a murderous psychopath, but it seems like it might be a bit soon. He'll be back in, what, another 4 or 5 months? Dark Reign seems like it could run longer than that.

Brother Voodoo being the new SS makes no sense for at least 1 main reason:

The sorcerer supreme is supposed to be the most powerful sorcerer (hence sorcerer SUPREME) by definition.

After Civil War (so just a couple months ago Marvel time) it was shown in Avengers that Strange still clearly out-powered BV (Strange was hiding the whole avengers team in plain sight by magic and BV was right there with all the time in the world and couldn't detect them.

So, even just a couple months ago Strange was shown as clearly being more powerful than BV. If "Sorcerer Supreme" doesn't mean that one is the most powerful sorcerer then the title makes no sense.

How about, "pretty important sorcerer, but who can get schooled by a pretty amount of other sorcerers out there".

Or how about:

"Yet another c-list character that Bendis feels like giving attention to for no particular reason".

I think what they're showing here is that the Eye of Agamotto is a big portion of Doc Strange's powers. So it will enhance Brother Voodoo's. And being super powerful isn't the only requirement for being Sorceror Supreme, as Doc Strange learned, as his use of Dark Magic got him stripped of the title and position.

Also, I believe Doc Strange is getting his own series now simply called Strange. Dealing with the aftermath of losing his position and such.
