Yeah, automatically makes me hate Brett Ratner right there. I actually walked out during the movie the first time I went to see it I was in such disgust.

Yeah, I highly doubt that.

I kinda agree. I have the ability, however to look at them as movies and not connected to the comic, and in that light, they are very good.

As do I.

No. The Last Stand keeps it from acheiving that status. Not a good movie, at all.

i don't think there is such a thing as three consecutive cool movies....

one always falters

X3 is like Return of the Jedi, crappy story with random characters thrown in and lots of cool moments.

And both movies tied up the character arc very well.

What about the LOTR trilogy? Or the Hannibal Lector trilogy?

the first time? that means you bought a second ticket (or more) for a movie you were disgusted with:confused:

I thought all the LOTR movies were great.

I would say no.

X1 was a boring exercise that has nothing to make me want to watch that movie ever again.

X2 and X3 are flawed but at least both movies entertained me.

Yeah he bought a ticket and walked in disgust and everything, then he went back. Some type of sadomasochist apparently.

I've never walked out on a movie in my life.

And this from a guy who saw Battlefield Earth in the theater.

Was Ransom really that bad?

No, but I was bored beyond belief that day, and didn't find anything of interest in the first 20 minutes of that movie.

I actually saw Battlefield Earth TWICE. I still don't know why.

The same happened to me with "The Thirteenth Floor"

I actually own it. :O

It was so hilarious and I found it for cheap so I had to buy it.

It's true that seeing John Travolta dressed up like a poor man's Klingon and hearing him say: "Eat the rat, man-animal!" is priceless. :D

Is Barry Pepper a scientologist, if so I lost any respect I had for him.

Unless I'm mistaken, absolutely everyone involved in that film was a Scientologist. By pure coincidence, of course. :o

And I love how the atmosphere they breathe is highly vulnerable to even the slightest particle of radiation, to the point of exploding. Apparently, their homeworld has never been exposed to the rays of it's sun or has had a meteorite impact.

It's just chock full of lovable stupidity. Hey! We can capture humans to dig gold for us, because we have giant robots that can do it, but they're...um....lazy.
