As the '06 Homecoming King, I was asked to return to take part in this year's Homecoming parade and half-time ceremony. And It's a big, big thing here.

Yeah, I'm not too excited. I dread being thrown back into a place I so longed to leave for four years. All the memories of stupid people, petty drama, pointless assignments and ****ty cafeteria food are coming back to me.

And I know a lot of graduates come back for that type of thing, especially around here. Do you, those who have graduated? And, if so, why? To see old friends? Support your high school?

And, while we're at it, let's add some more room for discussion.

What kind of student were you? What clubs did you belong to? What titles/awards were you given? Etc...

I was the complete misfit, and I hung out with a group of people like me. **** High School.

I was a smart kid, got along with the "nerds" and the jocks just fine.

Too much alcohol since then, I barely remember it.

I'm gonna graduate this year but I'm going to go back to upgrade next year, so. lol. I can't see going back so soon for any other reason though.

Look at it this way: you now have the "College Appeal". Easy money -- I.E. girls.

Get in, get out, and get some action.

went back to see teachers and brag.thats about it.

I was actually friends with a few young teachers. It might be nice to catch up with them.

I'm a drumline tech for my high schools marching band, so I guess you could say I come back?

I just graduated, but I intend on passing by my CAD class. It was like my temporary house in HS. I'm surprised my teacher never strangulated me for just a few of the things my group did in that room.

I would tell them to piss off, you're out of high school and stupid pointless titles dont mean anything to you anymore, nor should they to any of them in the first place...hell, come back and make a speech about how being homecoming king, prom queen, whatever doesnt make a god damn bit of difference in the really real world, and then start shooting people...

btw, I was in Yearbook/School Paper, and failed it becasue I refused to write what the man told me to :o

No, I'll be going back. Properly groomed and attempting to "look nice." I'm a passive, nice guy. I guess I can do that ****hole a favor. :down

A favor for any acre upon acre of lameness is a public education in the vindicating usage of napalm. I suggest burning for the styrocyrene for it ASAP. Like the Spanish Inquisition, no one ever expects the passive nice guy.

I left town 2 months after I graduated, & I have only been back twice. That was 10 years ago.

I was voted..

''Most Friendly" and ''Most Involved." Whatever that last one means. :o

Dude, as if. I can't think of anything lamer than going back to school (and not even for a reunion or something) to basically prance around like a niancy boy.
