My Main ISSUE with the story?

In the begining,... he wanted a cure.
None of his "friends" had a cure.

In the end,... The guy that MADE HIM THIS WAY wants to try to fix him,.... AND HE TURNS HIM DOWN.

He'd accepted his death by then. If he'd gotten cured at that point, it would've been anti-climactic. The logical desires of a living being are secondary to the story, damn it.
