So how much screentime do you think the surfer will get and who'll be the main baddie

Okay I haven't been in this FF threads for sometime,Honestly I was really mad with what story did with the first film.But that's past, I am kinda worried yet excited that the SS will be in the movie, in a way I wanted a solo movie for him and with another director,but we're getting him in fantastic 42.So anyway I wanted to know if he was gonna have a role as big as the rest of the FF or a smaller role? Yes I know the movie's called FF and the SS,but still I wanted to know how much screentime will he get.Since galactus gonna be in it whos' gonna be the main villain? Galactus or Doom?

Oh and pardon my ignorance, I love the surfers look but I don't really know much about his powers, can someone tell me what he's powers will be in the movie?

I have no idea what they'll actually do, but here's what I'd do.

The film opens with flashbacks to Dooms childhood, we see Boris and we see the death of Doom's father and his vow to never serve any other man.

We then see the FF and get a glimpse of the battles they've fought between the two films. They are now an organized, experienced team.

We see Boris reviving Doom with the help of a mystic sect of Monks who forge a suit of armor for him.

Word gets to the FF that Doom is still alive and they set out to find him and stop him before he becomes too powerful.

Before they can track him down, the Silver surfer arrives, and to prepare the Earth for Galactus' arrival begins taking out military installations and anything that might inconvenience the big G.

The bulk of the movie follows the FF as they battle the SS, try to stop him and try to figure out what he is. As they are doing that, we see that Doom takes the opportunity to take control of his homeland, Latveria.

At the end of the film, the FF are able to communicate with the SS. He tells them of the coming of Galactus, but he begins to see the nobility in humanity and he begins to doubt his mission.

The film ends with Galactus' arrival.

At least that's how I'd do it.

He has powers greater than any force on earth. Obviously he can fly on his board. He can also project energy beams from his hands and create energy fields. He can alter gravity and use his "Power Cosmic" to do many, many things. He has practically limitless strength and is practically invulnerable.

For the most part, you name it, he can do it.

Probably. I'm not much of an expert. Just going from what I can remember him doing in comic books I read 30 years ago. I remember him "eating" by absorbing the energy from objects in Alicia's studio.

I think the Doom story will get the most development in this film but the Surfer will be so damn cool he'll steal Doom's thunder. Doom will gain it back in the 3rd film when he saves the world.

No one know about the plots espeacially since several totalyl oppostie scripts were written it's hard to think of what will happen.

That's just speculation that the story from 2 will continue on into 3 even though it seems likely.

I think we would have heard that they are filming back-to-back. But I guess we will learn more at Comic-Con.

I think/hope so. Even after the FF became friends with him in the comics, Stan Lee found ways to get them to battle him just because it was so cool.

I expect the film-makers should recognize the value of such a conflict.

How do you know the scripts were totally opposite and had Moleman and Puppetmaster as the villains....

Honestly I don't think we know anything about any of the scripts and thats very cool IMO....

i like idea. maybe hav ethe beginning of the movie showing newspaper covers with the FF on them and showing who they've defeated kinda like the beginning of hellboy.

That is about where I see this going also, as far as the Surfer interacting with other characters.

That all depends on the writing, theres a way to keep the 4 the center, and him as a 5th wheel so to speak.....but a good 5th wheel...
