So I finally got a Gamecube...good decision?

Now now. That kind of talk is not really going to inspire me to buy RE4 is it? I'll think about buying it and that is all I can do at the moment as I have a list of games that I want more than that one.

Still if I do get it they better have improved it since the others (yes I know you all say they have but I would rather wait and see for myself if that is ok)

it's the best game that ever came out for Gamecube, seriously man. I never even liked the previous games, but this one is non stop action and scariness

Bought one today at Walmart with a memory card. I'm asking if it was a good decision because I could hardly find any games for it. Are stores not selling gamecube games anymore? I'd like to buy a few more before the Wii and PS3 come out.

if you really don't like RE4, i'll consider reimbursing you. it honestly is probably one of the best games ever. it's nothing like the other resident evil games (which i also liked, for their time, but 4 is just.... the goodness)

i bought a gamecube just for the New (non-cellshaded) Zelda game that was delayed like 2 years to fill the time with a waste of money, I bought the rogue squadron games. Have fun with those. the console really is a piece of ****.

Buying a Gamecube at this point was f**king ******ed considering that the Wii is comming out in October/November and has backwards compatablility with Gamecube games and can play old games from the Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, Genesis, and Turbo-Graphix systems.

Anyways good games would include:

- the Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (forget about what people say about the graphics, it fits the tone of the game, it presents the best Ganondorf/Ganon battle EVER, the only problems are that there is too much sailing and Tingle is in full force in this game)

- Resident Evil 0 (its the same old traditional Resident Evil gameplay, but hell it's still fun!)

- Resident Evil (remake)

- Resident Evil 4 (best version in my opinion is the Gamecube version, best controls and best graphics)

- Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes (remake of Metal Gear Solid, but with Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty graphics and other additions WITHOUT RAIDEN, the controls are a little weird though on account that Metal Gear Solid is a game that is really made for the Playstation controller)

- Super Mario Sunshine (the camera sucks but it still gives you good old 3D Mario goodness)

- Metroid Prime (no Halo or FarCry but it presents some good fun, it's the best FPS game for the Gamecube)

- Metriod Prime 2: Echoes (see above)

listing the twin snakes just reminded me that i just played it today.

i beat it twice in a row. i love mgs 1 so much, especially TS. snake looks awesome. i love using the stealth camo to **** with the guards.

I wouldn't say it's a 'wise decision', the only reason being is that the Wii will be coming out around November, and it will play every Gamecube game, working with Gamecube controllers, but be everything the Wii is. IT will probably be 250 dollars or so.

Your loss since it's one of only 4 good games for the system (others Being Resident Evil remake, RE0 and Eternal Darkness).I can't help thinking you might as well have burned the cash
