I heard it was about the same. The first one was around the70 or 80 mil mark i think. I hope this one has more because it will be much bigger and will have lots of more creatures, fx plus more and bigger set pieces.

It's a tad higher (around the $72 million mark, I believe), but considering that the last film was made 4 years ago for around $60 million, and accounting for inflation, the budget isn't really much improved.

I dont think its that much (though i hope it is!), its been stated pretty much from the start the budget is proportionately the same as the first movie (you know, taking inflation, etc, into account)
