So... I've got a question...

I'm making a facebook fan page for Wal-Mart. I'm going to call it Wal-Martists. I want to see if they threaten to shut me down.

I mean, I don't know a single other website that tries to **** over their loyal visitors as much as this one. I mean, threatening to shut down a fan page over the word Hypester? And claiming copyright infringement. Man, seriously, management here needs some perspective.

So I guess a facebook page called ComingSooners is out of the question?

Can I make a facebook page called Hypesters but for hype men?

OMG. I am tired of people threatening to sue for COPYRIGHT VIOLATION for EVERYTHING even if it's clearly legal. I mean, Youtube purged 'the Bunker' Hitler parodies simply because they were threatened. THAT'S PROTECTED UNDER YE PARODY CLAUSE!!!!! Then, Tommy Wiseau told ye Nostalgia critic to take down his Room reveiw or he'll sue. THAT'S PROTECTED UNDER YE PARODY CLAUSE!!!!! Now this. NOBODY'S MAKING A RED CENT OF THE PAGE EXCEPT MAYBE FACEBOOK, AND SO THEY SHOULD BE THE ONES THREATENED, BUT THERE IS YE FACT THAT IT MAY BE PROTECTED UNDER FAIR USE!!!!!!!!
People who run ye Hypester's Facebook Fanpage, please STAND UP against Copyright Nazism. Sure, getting sued does mean that you lose precious time and money, but a. you'll probably win, and b. it's worth it to stop copyright Nazism. Take a stand against ye Tommy Wiseaus of ye world and we'll no longer leave in fear of Copyright Nazism.

Well, there's DailyMotion...

Also, I see parodies of that scene up there still on Youtube.

Haha, I love how Youtube claims it's copyright violation on parody videos, when it's clearly allowed under ''Fair Use''. Some people, yikes!

I like to think the gents running this site are sorting it out right now. Shameful if they don't. They should be grateful that each and everyone of us make this forum what it is today and that we love it enough to want to join a fan page of it on FB.

Lmfao. First I'm hearing of this.

This whole thing is so damn ****ing silly.

If I'm going to make a stand, it might as well be about something silly.

Also, still no answer.

The only way they could justify us getting any say is if we start paying to come on here or something or donating, and we know how those attempts went.

The most he could've done was to e-mail Facebook and tell him his tale of copyright and dishonor and Facebook would have been like "Seriously?"

The word is Hypester. Only gutless weasels say it some other way.
