Transformers So... what do you notice for the first time with the DVD?

A few things I'm pretty sure that people are misseeing are when Frenzy leaves Airforce One, some people think he's flipping the humans off. I think he's just covering his face hoping they won't notice him.

Actually, when he gets into Barricade (that sounds so WRONG), he does, in fact, flip them off. I didn't see it until the second or third time I saw it in the theatre.

Imagine what else they could learn off the Internet! :oldrazz:

And I've got to wonder about the people who think Starscream shot at Megatron since he was busy trying to save his own aft from the pissed off F-22 pilots.
Dude, the pilots had no idea he was even there, he ambushed them and pretty much demolished a lot of their forces with ease and in the midst of the action, decided to go in undercover and hit megs

those pilots had absolutely nothing on him, he owned them immensely.

I was just wondering how and why Starscream missed that perfect chance to get rid of both Megatron and Prime and get the cube the same time when Prime, Megatron and Sam fall to the ground from the building top.

(once again, I have to apologize for my lousy english. :p)

That's a good question.

It would make for a good sequel! :woot::trans:

did anyone else have a problem with some of the contiuity, like when they crash into OP's foot and shia gets out and puts the sweater on but when they cut to him talking to simmons he doesn't have it on? or the whole 2 donuts on the plate then none then 1 and half just little things like that

the first thing I noticed was the lack of noise in certain scenes... for example, when all of the autobots transform for the first time, in the theater, on the screen, you could clearly see noise in the background... same thing goes for the little robot when he was about to hack into the mainframe (please forgive me TF fans, i forgot the damn name :O) on Air Force One.

Good to see that they took it out of the DVD version

Which noises are you talking about exactly? I don't recall.

it was more of a visual noise... a slight static whenever heavy use of CG was shown on in the film

I think that when Prime and Bonecrusher are fighting and sounds like Bonecrusher says ''Oh I hate Ya!!!'' listen to it and tell me if it does not sound like that.

Another cool part of this is the attention to detail. Watch the fight in slow motion and you will see Bonecrusher's eye swinging around after Prime puches it out. Actually watching a lot of parts are really cool in slo-mo, especially the transformations.

I noticed this in the theatres and thought they would fix it on the dvd. But what happens to barricade (cop car)? last I heard was sam telling them to box him in and he never shows up again in the rest of the movie....

He does indeed flip off the humans, once he's inside of the cop car (Barricade)

Can anybody explains a little to me what this means?

"Mission city is 22 miles away, we are gonna sneak the cube out of here and hide it somewhere in the city."

Sorry, english is not my native language, so what they mean by "mission city" and "hide it somewhere in the city"?

hide it somewhere so that the decepticons can not find it?...

That's probably very silly, but I have to get it clear. :p

I hope that helps.

My guess, he saw Bonecrushers get his ass handed to him by Prime, and decided he'd just back off.

I noticed a couple of things.

For instance, I loved Optimus' angry remarks when Sam was looking for the glasses.

Another thing I noticed that was it was definitely Optimus coming out of the pool! As he was hiding in the tree, you could see the outline of his face. Plus the fact of the dramatic choir music.

I mean I just can't figure out how it's gonna be a good idea to protect the cube from decepticons by hiding it somewhere in the city? That way we are only forcing Megatrons to wipe out the whole city to find the cube.

I also noticed for the first time that Megatron calls Sam a maggot when he's trying to get up to the top of the building at the end of the movie

I think it was Ironhide that came out of the pool & then he turned into that big black GMC truck.

:cmad:
That's Ironhide!!!

(deep breath)

If you freeze frame the shots where they briefly show the faces of the protoforms, you will see that the are all exactly alike. The people who've made the movie have stated that it's Ironhide coming out of the pool. ILM has stated that it's Ironhide coming out of the pool. It's Ironhide coming out of the pool.

If you're still not convinced, think about this. If it's Ironhide out in the middle of the field, then he had to run off and find that Topkick some place pretty far away since there was nothing around where he landed. In the meantime, Optimus has to now take off from an obviously residentual area, find the highway and scan a passing big rig. It just makes more sense for Ironhide to be the one coming out of the pool.
