This film reminds me of that new Selena Gomez/Hudgens vehicle.
The producers seem to want to tap into, among others, that one demographic that has a keen interest in seeing the disney type act like party going adventurous mid teens type. And to plot the film around them breaking the law and then facing the law.

Something about that former disney type, as opposed to any other young actor really speaks to a particular demographic. And I'm not referring to young women that grew up watching them lol.
