It's understandable for Big Boss to be like that. His mentor, a mother-like figure, betrayed him. Then he finds out she was doing her duty and those in charge disposed of her like she was garbage, despite being a great soldier. Deep down, despite being a hardened warrior, Big Boss is human. He has human emotions.

As I have already said, Solid Snake in his prime took down two heavily armed fortress nations, defeated and killed the greatest soldier in history...twice, defeated bands of mercenaries in Outer Heaven and Zanzibar Land and FOXHOUND, defeated FOXHOUND's best soldier: Grey Fox, destroyed Metal Gear and Metal Gear REX in combat, he possibly took down a couple of Metal Gear RAYs and assisted in taking down the Sons of Liberty, Dead Cell, and Arsenal Gear. Solid Snake was also created to be a warrior, unlike Big Boss.

Big Boss in his prime took down the Cobra Unit, the FOX Unit, General Volgin, the Shagohod with assistance, founded and led FOXHOUND, took part in the development of Metal Gear, defied and actually presented a threat to the Patriots, and fought countless wars.

Solid Snake's accomplishments outweigh Naked Snake's

No, he presented emotions that any human would have in such a case. It shows that despite becomming a bad guy, committing various war crimes, and killing possibly hundreds of people with his own hands. Big Boss is more HUMAN than Solid Snake is, despite being a HERO, who has saved the world countless times.

besides, snake didn't do **** in MGS2. That pansy Raiden did most of the work, and if he can do all dat ****, then it was easy in the first place. And in MGS Solid Snake couldn't have done half dat **** if it wasn't fo Gray Fox. Hell, he was following Liquid's advice thru most of the game. LOL, he didn't even defeat Liquid! It was the Foxdie!
