You see what he had to work with, his nerves were completely severed :woot:

Trivia fans: Also used in Little Shop of Horrors and the gynecologist's tools in Dead Ringers

this could very well be the best response to a post of mine, ever.

Okay, I've held my tongue long enough.
Miranda is a great sleuth when it comes to TDK information and an even nicer poster. She is genuinely nice and friendly to all posters and her posts are fun to read. SO ARE A LOT OF PEOPLE'S.
The borderline misogynistic swinging that follows any post Miranda makes is getting more than a tad annoying. She is a smart woman who loves Batman, boys. They do exist. Get over it.

:up::up::up:

after talking to Gordon at the rooftop, next to the Batsignal. he jumps off the building and glides, the music rises to a crescendo, that's the Batman theme.
Actually, the theme right there when the movie goes off isn't it. The real music starts at time 2:17:45. It is the last piece of music before the credits end.

I meant sweet ass in the nicest possible way

We all get over excited sometimes. When England won the Rugby World Cup, I kissed my best friend, on the eye. :(

The only problem I have with Batman turning Joker Prototype into Joker.i is that it could rather flatten the dramatic peaks and troughs.

ah, my bad. i gotta go listen to it again. thanks for the tip.

With, all this new stuff on the Joker. When is the WB going to release the official pic of him.

Per Anjow's latest post, could it be that we're going to get a very vague, montage-like origin that is cut together from random scenes?

What I mean is, rather than the narrative flashbacks in "Begins," we get shots of different things - a mask, perhaps, or a shot of chemically-burned hands, or some sort of trauma that relates to Joker's psychosis - i.e., a shot of his eyes (and eyes only) just after he's been burned, etc.

This way, there's no definitive origin story, but we get a dramatic, mysterious, and somewhat disturbing sense of insight into who he is.

Also, considering the earlier info - it sounds to me like the Joker starts off as the Joker, white skin and all. And then, at some point, Batman scars him - perhaps it alters his smile, or it literally marks his skin in some way. At that point, he goes uber-freakin' crazy and their near-legendary rivarly is born. In other words, while Batman is not implicit in actually creating the Joker, he is responsible (in some way) for making him the Joker we know and love - Gotham's top criminal.
I LOVE everything you just said. It just sounds like something Nolan would do. God I hope that's what happens...

edited my post Anjow. took out most of it. dont want you getting into trouble man.

CHANGES TO THE SUIT? Maybe he will change the simple to the yellow oval so bad guys aim for that and not his face like in the comics. The oval is way better that :batty: anyway. :joker:

Thanks man. That was very sweet of you. :)

I think we'll see official pics by the end of May ;)

To add to my earlier post, if what Anjow's source said was correct, it seems as though it could play out like this:

The film starts off, Joker is already Joker - white skin, green hair, etc. He's crazy and cunning, though perhaps not yet totally psychotic. Then at some point in the film, he has a run-in with Batman that seriously "maims" him - not so much physically (as he's already a freak in that sense), but psychologically.

The scuffle with Batman leads Joker to having hazy, vague flashbacks, giving us a glimpse of his memories - what made him in the first place (those random shots I mentioned earlier - eyes, burned hands, etc.), and it drives him over the edge. This completes his transformation into a total psycopath, and he becomes obsessed with Bats - their rivalry is born.

In other words, the scuffle with Batman that Anjow refers to per his source could give us a direct (albeit vague/hazy) glimpse into Joker's story without having to resort to a long, drawn-out origin process. This way, TDK can answer some questions, leave others unanswered (thus heightening the mystery), and throw the audience a bone in regards to Joker's origin.

Hmm. I could live with that.

lol this is too true.

I hope they come up with a material that will give Batman a whole new look. More like he did in Hush(sans the color). If the report about the suit change is true and if indeed water does weigh the suit down, don't be surprised.

Sounds kinda like this film will be Joker Begins.

In the same way that it wasn't untill the end that Batman BEGAN, Joker will start Joker, but not be fully him, or at least the relation between him and Basts won;t begin untill the film is over. This starts it all. which would also imply that we will not see J die.

Sweet.

Also kinda more similar to Batman '89 in a way, that is with how '89 handled Batman, this film will handle the Joker. That is J is around in the begining, and we get glimpses of his past throughout the film, but things aren't what they are today untill this film is over.

Batman was around in the bigining of '89, but it wasn't untill the film was over that the city, and us, really knew him.

Ican't Wait To See The Balancing Act Nolan Performs To Make Sure The J-man Doesent Outshine Bats Like J-man 89 Did!

My guess is a lot of what we learn about the Joker is seen through Batman's eyes - as in, we learn about him as he does. Detective work FTW!

It could be cool if TDK started with a flashback to a younger Joker(whatever they choose to call him) akin to the way Begins started with a flashback to a young Bruce. They show Joker as a comedian or whatever, and something traumatic happens to him that sort of sets events into motion the way Bruce falling did. Then they could cut to Batman or cut to an older Joker(maybe about to rob a bank).

Funny thing is Joker in the animated series never outshined Bats to me.I think it comes down to how great of a character Batman is. If they keep building on the Batman character like in Begins they should be able to pull it off. IMHO Bale is the strongest character driven Batman thus far.
