Man, I don't even know how people can do hit and runs and not feel guilt. I Know what You Did Last Summer should have proved enough of a cautionary tale.

My cousin was killed by a Hit and Run driver last year. There was a camera at that intersection but it happened to 'not be working' that day. Rumour has it on the street that it was a cop's son.

I would love to get my hands on all involved in this incident.

Shame on the people who struck him, and shame on the people who stood by and stared at him.

In an accident like that, it's probably best to not move the injured, but nobody even consoled him, or got close enough to assess him.

Maybe it's just me... but it's horrible.

They did call police though, it's gotta be pretty shocking to see and the video only shows on minute of what happened.

"Several cars pass Torres as a few people stare from the sidewalk. Some approach Torres, but most stay put until a police cruiser responding to an unrelated call arrives on the scene after about a minute and a half.

The police chief told The Hartford Courant that he was unsure whether anyone called 911.

There is also the full video at that link.

That video is horrible. I bet the two guys racing thought it was hilarious.

My heart goes out to that poor family, it really does. I wish I could help but there's not much I can do. It's too bad the license plate numbers aren't clearly visible. Even so they could have been stolen vehicles for all we know. I just hope somewhere, whether in this world or the afterlife those that did this will get justice for all the pain and suffering they have caused.
