I don't know the name of the song or the artist, but it's a "Christmas" song. At least I always hear it around Christmas. It's about a kid buying nice shoes for his dying mother because she's going to meet Jesus soon. Can't listen to that song. Kind of a buzz kill listening to the Christmas station playing Jingle Bell Rock then the next song they play is the dying mother song.

Heartland: I Loved Her First - I hear it and imagine my daughters, all grown up, dancing at their weddings.

Agree with this one and also You Can Let Go by Crystal Shawanda. Made the mistake of listening to it shortly after my father passed away.
