Yeah, by the time I was done DVRing through them all, I think the show might have been less than an hour long. :(

59:04 long apparently.....

Think about that. They gave us a show that was 33% commercials. :p Still a good one nonetheless. :D

Can you really kill someone that way? I mean there are easier ways with such a sharp object. :p

For those curious, the fabulous opening song was "Coal War" by Joshua James, the same guy who did "No Milk Today" the opening song from Season 3's first episode. :D

I assume you could/would die that way, I was sure he was going for the throat or maybe even the eyes being Otto and all. But the ear, yea I'm guessing they wanted it to hurt. A unique hurt. :word:

Seems like you'd have to be really strong to just jam that in there like that. :p

I loved that song! I looked for it immediately after SOA aired last night. Sutter always does an amazing job with his song selections.

SOA always has the best music. I end up downloading at least four or five of the songs used over a season. :D

"Just business, right?"

Lol, apparently Jax takes shivving personally.

The move against the Russians is risky as hell, but without the middle men the profits double. With Clay's arthritis getting worse they need that cash quick. Its too bad they didnt know the guy was undercover FBI. Probably wouldve let him live. Now its gonna get personal with the FBI. Not too mention the ATF with Stahl. On the other hand, she was such a monumentally lewd woman, theyll probably let that one go.

The AUSA seems like a badass. Idk, maybe its just me.

Anyone notice that Sherrif Roosevelt was C-Note on Prison Break? Loved how he chewed his deputy out.

Maybe Otto is familiar with the art of Shinshi Shinshi.

That scene with Tara was the best part of the show. Yeah, even better than the ear shivving. Jax pretty much laid out everything that needs to be done to secure a future for him and his family. I especially liked the part about him not living off of his wife. Lol, no man wants that unless hes kind of a puss. The only part I didnt agree with was when he said Gemma was just an old lady. Hes seriously underestimating her here and that could bite him in the ass.

True :) but to get out of that life (if this was real) there's not too many other options especially if you want to get out quick.

I still listen to Girl from the North Country on a daily basis.

Did anyone else notice that the name Randolf Mantooth showed up on last night's credits? I'm old so the name meant something to me -- he was in the original Emergency show and some soap operas a long while back. And yet according to IMDB he isn't on the show at all. Bizarre. I mean I haven't thought about the guy in years so it caught my attention... If he was in the show I am not sure who he is playing, someone really old... :p

I dont think I remember him on the show.

Thats a pretty badass name, though.

He looks like Alan Ruck.

He also looks like what Kyle Chandler will look like in 20 years.

His FB page said he was a "bad ass indian". The only indian I remember was the guy who married Opie and Lyla. Was that him?

He was the Minister at the wedding.
Thanks. Don't know as that qualifies as Bad Ass, but whatever. :p

Shame that IMDB didn't list him in the cast credits. Even his own page didn't mention it. He should have been on there....

Good opening episode. Good to see Ronnie from The Shield. Hopefully he gets some screen time.

I'm glad Jax got his revenge. The Sons took the Russians OUT! Plus, the rat.

Also, anyone know how long Otto is gonna be in prison?

Yeah, he's on Death Row last I knew. :(

Yep, he has nothing to lose when he sticks it to people on behalf of SAMCRO.
