Phenomenal, powerful ending.
No Payoff ?
Jax stripped Clay of his power and is now President .... He spat in his face which damn fun to watch . He also removed Clay's right hand man Tig as sargent in arms . Tara stood up to Gemma ..... Yes I am sure there will be a power struggle & ramifications but I was left satisfied . Clay was punished . So was Gemma . This episode was a much less hectic pace and I am fine with that.. It gave me what I wanted .... I don't need a shoot out every episode
TThe ending montage was the best yet
After all the incredibly ****ed up things he did just this season, Clay deserved more than just getting stripped as president and spit on. Especially since he did all those things to keep power in the first place. Not only did we not getting the pay off of him dying but next season he'll probably be a thousand times worse in his attempt to get his club back.
Aside from that though everything else was satisfying (especially the town meeting) and that ending montage was the greatest the show has done so far. Last season ended with Jax saying that he was not his father and this one ended with him in the same shot as an old picture of his father and Gemma which I thought said a lot.
I could not agree more . We got a new King & Queen of Samcro....No payoff? Really? Wow. Just because what happens isn't necessarily what you wanted or expected to happen doesn't mean there's no payoff.

Thanks..... is it on iTunes at all?
Not only is Clay no longer able to make leadership decisions, he's now essentially the Piney character.
Think about that for a second, and then tell me it would've been better had he died.
