I didnt, I copied and pasted what MakesMineMarvel posted last night. Kinda weird that Ike makes a point to say For Your Eyes Only and it got forwarded to other execs

Looks like Ike (Marvel CEO) and Michael (Sony CEO) had a call where they discussed the Spidey Deal directly AFTER the Phase 3 slate was announced, as a last ditch effort to revive the deal.

Then, Ike sends Michael the Spider-Man Scenarios document, which seems to outline the deal that they have reached.

Then, Michael forwards the email to Andrew Gaupert (Sony Business) who crunches the numbers on the deal and talks about it to Amy Pascal and Doug Belgrad:

So ml got a call back from ip re that deal. I’m running some numbers b/c there may be an opening where the investments in each film are much smaller (albeit a little disproportional in THEIR favor e.g, we invest 5% and they invest 10 or 12.5%, something like that). I say this only so you know (A) I received this call, (B) I’m quietly running numbers and (C) ml would like to reply to ip tomorrow am.

ari and scott are honestly irrelevant to this. They are noise and are certainly not looking out for our interests, and you control the rights. Human beings have the right to change their minds. Giving it to uni outright will not change anything with the ari's and scott's of the world. They will continue to antagonize and besmirch. So don't give it up if you really want it b/c you think life with them on a go forward will be better b/c it won’t, ever. People like that are using tactics to get the results they want to serve their own agenda.

Looks like Pascal's relationship with Ari wasn't great either!

Since marvel walked from sony first deal. And things are different. But i always love learning of behind the scenes stuff.
