They're wrong.

And that's all I have to say about that.

I was watching Attack of The Show and they were talking about how there are pirated DVDs being sold in China.

No. I don't have a copy on my hands, nor I want to.

But I know people who have, P2Ps who are putting it online, saw pics, screencaps and everything else.

Me, I'd rather watch it projected digitally on a big screen, and then buy the HD DVD when it's out.

I'm patient when it comes to Spider-Man movies.

"Early pirated copies of Hollywood blockbusters are sometimes filmed in cinemas and viewers can see people walking in front of the screen or hear members of the audience coughing. Other DVDs show totally different films to what may be advertised on the cover."

That's another reason no one should buy pirated DVDs from China. They look pretty much like that:

Click the thumbnail and you'll get a SMALL idea of the quantity of the pirated DVDs that can be found all around Asia.

when they mean pirated, they don't mean by the chinese selling their little pirated dvds

they mean accessible on line. Example: http://www.vcdquality.com/

Groups that release CAMS or TELESYNCS of movies, is what they refer to as pirated.

readily available online for torrents or FTP transfer.

Well, if I know anyone who buys the bootleg of this movie ...

... I'm going to smack them.

I cannot STAND bootlegging! "Hey, I have an idea- let's get the movie theaters out of business!" UGH. Horrible.

I've seen the bootleg they released before Hulk came out only recently, and I have to say it looks atrocious. If they really did work with the purple suit they showed at the gala premiere and only just finished the editing as Raimi's time in the editing room insinuates I don't want to see an earlier cut of this film either. I could just imagine the fanboy griping that would erupt over incomplete footage. Then there's the issue of consistency, possible incomplete renders like in the SDCC footage...

Overall, a bootleg of this movie would get the finger from me. Ticket prices are not so erroneously large that it requires bootleg downloads, and Raimi nor the cast has done anything to the fans for people to be giving a big FU to the production by stealing away hard-earned profit.

P.S.- I'd be suspicious of claims that the film is already bootlegged...at most, I'm thinking blurry cam footage. Sony has been on lockdown when it comes to these reels for all intents and purposes.

I didn't think pirates came out until may? :P

At worlds end, anyone going to see that?

Our Dichotomy opens the combat. :wow: LMAOL!!!!!

I don't remember that line in the film.

You won't be seeing Spidey on HD-DVD for a LONG time. Blu-ray is the only HD format you'll be seeing him on.

Formant neutral FTW. :yay:

I agree somewhat but when it comes to you enjoying the film and not wanting to wait/continually wasting your money just so you can repeatedly watch it in a wide open and noisy crowd, then it comes in handy. Not saying I'm jumping out to get it or anything, I'll wait until May 4th, though I can't say about later. Especially when the movie is out of theaters and is not on DVD either.

I don't know if anyone even cares or not, and I can't say too much, but I work at an anti-internet piracy place, here in Cali... It's pretty cool... But yeah, as far as I know, there aren't any copies of Spidey 3 out there yet... And we'll be taking care of any if they show up... Anyway, can't really say too much, I signed a non-disclosure agreement, but yeah... Nothing out there...

Well duh. Who actually believes stupid rumours like that anyway? Not to mention the fact that both movies take place in totally different time periods anyway. They're not going to have a time machine in the movie that transports Jack Sparrow into the 21st century or something. Plus we would have heard about this a LONG time ago if it was true, and it would have been novelization if it was, which it isn't PLUS both films are being distributed by 2 different studios I doubt they would play nice and do something like this. I can 100% assure you there will be NO Spider-man/Pirates cross-over.

People can be such morans.

^^WTF are you talking about???
Please tell me there's some sort of sarcasm in there...

I hope this was an attempt at humour, otherwise my response to you is in bold

Haha, I remember that star wars movie. I used to have it. HAHAHA

Im gonna wait to see the film in theaters before getting it off a torrent site. I actually just downloaded all five seasons of spider-man TAS, and i saw the link for spider-man 3 but decided against it; plus the hypes gotta go down before downloading it, Sony will be on the patrol for awhile

Are you high? What does that have anything to do with the movie being pirated?
