The Dark Knight Source Material?

We don't need source material, Burton didn't use it and everyone loves his movies.

The good thing about Nolan and Goyer was that drew very heavily on the source material to tell the story so taht they could be true to the vision of Batman.

Hey this a question off the record but, the pneguins henchmen did they wear suits or just thuggish clothes?

Well it didn't show..

Oh, I didn't think so either. I remember being surprised when I read about it. From your posts so far, I'm a bit confused. Do you think the Nolans should or shouldn't obviously draw from the source material? I mean, won't it be a better movie if they use good sources and remain relatively faithful?

I'm all for Nolan using Source Material, I was just saying that stuff about Burton because.. well..I don't know I don't like him..

In the film or comics? The Red Triangle Circus gang were his 'thugs' in the movie. Comics, don't know. Haven't read many good Penguin stories.

comics because seeing as Penguin being a gentlemen of crime i'd assume they'd dress respectably.

They are generally represented as generic, black suited goons in the Reservoir Dogs mould, though Tim Sale likes to have him accompanied by an army of similar Penguin-mutants.

I like Penguin's thugs in 'Dark Victory.'
