The Amazing Spider-Man Spider-Man 4 Video Game Thread.

The camera is very bad, indeed! But I don't know how they could make it better. I can understand that it's extremely hard to get that right. Even Arkham Asylum can have some annoying camera issues sometimes.

My biggest wish would be to have an AAA, more grounded story with Green Goblin being the main villain. With more grounded, I mean that it shouldn't involve mass invasion of aliens, symbiotes etc. but more personal and real.

I also want the city to be more alive and detailed.

Also, they'd need to really redo the combat. I'd be happy if they would have the freeflow combat system in a Spidey game. It would fit him so much!

Then, keep CDB or Josh Keaton as the voice actor for Spider-Man. Also, keep the fan service and we'd have a great game.

this^ we also need great graphics. my favorite thing about BAC is the graphics and cinematic sequences, they look so real!! i love when they do that in video games because the characters come to life. and i hope beenox changes their entire stylized version of spiddey, i dont like it.

I'd love if a Spider-Man game would have the same cinematic feel as the Uncharted games.

yea even that, what has always been a dream of mine is if they redid the ps1 spidey game with this generations graphics... that would beat all games!! get the voice actors and even update the costume selection. every villain is in there and they are a blast to play with. (imagine the cinematic sequences looking like a movie!)

The problem with a game above... well, above the quality of Spider-Man games we're getting now is that the developers need a fairly long time to make it. The main concern to them seems to be how quickly can they rush out a game every year. :\

Because TASM is going through a bit of a dry spell, whereas TDKR has new info and set pictures almost everyday.

Release a damn poster, Sony... or at least put up that one we saw at Comic Con online in high res. :\

I agree with everything. But there's a problem with the more alive and detailed city: People ask for a huge city, with also it feeling more alive and detailed, but you can't have both. The game would have way too much bugs, and the gaming experience wouldn't feel smooth anymore, which is very important especially for a Spidey game.

I would be ok with a little smaller city, because the thing that most people don't realize is that if we got the detailed more alive feeling city, it would feel bigger even if it was a little smaller.

EDIT: Have you seen the new york of Prototype? That looks pretty good. Still could be a little smaller so they could get more detail
