I think that guy Thomas Wilson (who we saw a lot of during the Shattered Dimensions BTS videos) is probably leading the production on the Amazing Spider-Man game. If you noticed, he's nowhere in sight in the Edge of Time vids, so what they probably did was divide Beenox, where one side is working on Edge of Time and the other side is working on ASM. Just a guess.

I don't think they're going to make a game. It's way too late for there to be nothing said about it. I mean The Dark Knight didn't have a game and that, at least for me, was one of my anticipated video games...maybe ever.

just because the dark knight didn't get a game doesn't mean that it would happend now with Spider-man. It's very rare that a superheromovie now days (especially something like Spider-man) wouldn't get a game, the dark knight was one of those rare exceptions, but it's very unlikely at least to me that TASM wouldn't get a game

And also, why is the name of the thread still "spider-man 4 video game" and not "The Amazing Spider-man video game"

I mean, when you're talking really advanced and thorough games like Final Fantasy? It can take 4 or 5 years. Hell even games like Madden take over a year to make. They could still make it, but at this point it will be a complete piece of ****. Unless they've been devving it without a word about it slipping out since May or June, I have no hopes for this game or it's creation.

As Pac-Master said, the guy Thomas Wilson that we saw a lot in the BTS videos of Shattered dimensions is in none of the BTS videos of Edge Of Time, they have probably divided beenox, one side working on edge of time, on side working on the amazing spider-man. And when all work with Edge of Time is ready, they will all continue with the amazing spider-man

Right now they have to promote Edge Of Time a lot, so I guess they figured that it would be the best just to keep the game as a secret before Edge Of Time gets released. Soon after that, if they're working on TASM, we will hear about it, and they have plenty of time for serious promoting next year

Maybe the fact that it isn't coming out for another 10 months is the reason they haven't announced it. Someone asked them on Facebook a while ago if they were working on it and they said something along the lines of "We can't say right now", so chances are they've been working on it for a while.

Honestly, most times when people working at a big company say "we can't say" it's most likely a yes they are, or undecided as to whether or not they should. It's rarely a no.

You guys are being a bit blinded by hope. The game would have been announced by now. We can't say at this moment is a deterrent. If they yes, everyone will ask questions about that game rather than focusing on Edge of Time, and if they say no, people will ask questions about why that game isn't being made rather than focusing on Edge of Time. It's a no though. It would have been announced by now.

I think if there is one in development, they'll announce it after Edge of Time is released.

Yeah, we could get an announcement with the teaser trailer from NYCC.

And for the rest of you guys, as VenomSpawn just said, when some guy asked about the movie game on Beenox facebook page, Beenox responded along the lines of "we can't say right now". If they weren't making the game, wouldn't they just say it? Why would they keep it a secret? Common sense tells, that they probably wouldn't want to get anyone's hopes up for nothing, so in the case they weren't making a game, they would've said it

I think it'll most likely be announced after Spider-Man Edge of Time.
