To me, Venom is basically Spider-Man gone wrong.

Venom is what Spider-Man could have been if he gave in to the symbiote.

(Sorry to bring this up) In Spider-Man 3, while we did see some aspect of the symbiote's nature, but we never truly saw the effect it had on Peter.

I'm hoping they go into this if they use the symbiote in a sequel...and rather than doing a palette swap, I want the suit to change over the course of the movie. At first it's a black and white version of his regular suit, but as Peter/Spider-Man becomes more aggressive, and gives in to the symbiote, the suit becomes distorted. Representing how Peter has become but a shell of his former self.

I think a game with the concept of Web of Shadows, but more along the lines of inFAMOUS would be great. (The whole good/bad choices thing leading to multiple endings)...but I doubt we'd get that soon/anybody would want that with the overuse of Venom/symbiotes for the past few years.

I still think Venom has been best portrayed in the original SM game on PS1. Like he's an anti hero and is only out to get Spider-Man.

But in the end redeems himself and teams up with SM.

This!
I feel the same way. That is my FAVORITE interpretation of venom. Hes funny, and like laura ziskin said hes "deliciously evil"( my favorite way to describe him)
Venom loves making spideys life go wrong because all he wants to do is torture spidey for ruining his own life. Plus venom is so hard to beat in the game. Just like how he was in his first appearences.
Protects the innocent with the powers hes recieved but uses them to get revenge.
That is the only reason i urge for a revamped spiderman Ps1 game. It, to me, is batman arkham asylum for spidey because there is a slew of villains and they all are written at their best.

I love that game. Im going to play it right now:p

Best Venom ever, and being funny helped

It's my favorite, too, and his voice was badass.
''I smell bad symbiote, and it ain't me!''

Agreed. Venom is what would happen if Peter's powers were possessed by a person who would respond to "With Great Power comes Great Responsibility" by saying, "**** that!" I think the quote, "With Great Power comes Great Revenge" sums him up pretty well. If Eddie Brock was bitten by the radioactive spider in lieu of Peter, the first thing he would have done was punch Flash Thompson in his face.

For me, the original Venom in the comics was the best portrayed. He was no anti-hero, but a true villain, he wanted to kill Spider-Man, and he took sadistic joy in being Venom and hurting those who hurt him.

Watch more

Having it on the N64 forces me to tube the cutscenes, we have slideshows instead

"Venom's ugly face on that big screen? Now THAT'S scary." lol

Personally, I would love to see a more serious and villainous incarnation of Venom in a future game.

Yea, not just a villain they throw in there like nothing. I mean he doesnt have to be imensly involved in the story but he has to have a purpose and have awesome combat.

Something like that. It should be somewhat like a survival horror game, in that the fight keeps you tense.

It should be like the last battle in kh2 with ansem.
It should be one of the hardest battles in the game

Whats another villain that deserves video game justtice

That's easy to answer: Green Goblin, without hesitation. He's Spider-Man's archenemy, but he appears in less games than the freaking Shocker. (That's not to say that Shocker is a bad villain, but he's a more obscure villain to say the least)
I would love to see a boss battle with Green Goblin that was an aerial duel using the more realistic "webs don't stick to the stratosphere" web-swinging mechanics of Spider-Man 2: The Game, along with the methods used to deal with the Goblin-like Glider Soldiers (whatever they were called) in Spider-Man: Web of Shadows. That could be awesome!

LMAO I just got reminded by that vid Aziz posted how Black Cat's face is so ugly and weird in that game.
