To me, Venom is basically Spider-Man gone wrong.
Venom is what Spider-Man could have been if he gave in to the symbiote.
(Sorry to bring this up) In Spider-Man 3, while we did see some aspect of the symbiote's nature, but we never truly saw the effect it had on Peter.
I'm hoping they go into this if they use the symbiote in a sequel...and rather than doing a palette swap, I want the suit to change over the course of the movie. At first it's a black and white version of his regular suit, but as Peter/Spider-Man becomes more aggressive, and gives in to the symbiote, the suit becomes distorted. Representing how Peter has become but a shell of his former self.
I think a game with the concept of Web of Shadows, but more along the lines of inFAMOUS would be great. (The whole good/bad choices thing leading to multiple endings)...but I doubt we'd get that soon/anybody would want that with the overuse of Venom/symbiotes for the past few years.
