If a movie game is to be released it will be upsetting, not short, just bad, cause they'll be forced to release it with the movie.

Seriously, Spider-man 2 game was a movie tie-in and it was awesome, one of the best Spider-man games IMO, if that can be good, why can't this one be? There's always hope

I love the movie games Treyarch released (even with my complaints on the first movie being slow and sharing some issues with the third (still my favorite Spidey game, did more right than it's acknowledged for IMO)), I even like SM3 on the PS2 and think FoF is a fun kiddie game with stuff to enjoy as an adult and a Spidey geek

If a game they said it was too early to start working on exactly a year before the movie release and they'll release it the same time the movie is released, then it will truly be rushed and bad

Honestly, it wouldn't take much to beat EoT but I can totally see Activision and Co. screwing it up again.

I want to play EoT, but if I found it to be stinker No. 3 in a row I'll ignore all Spider-Man games to come until the character moves to a better well accepted company by fans.

I may try Sega if the devs of FoF did it, they made a good job with Cap's game

and I have heard that X-men Origins was also a pretty good game. I'm not going to judge TASM game, even though it's a movie tie-in. Personally I think that it's going to be pretty good!

Even if you don't agree, think it this way: We will finally have something good to talk about

I'd HATE for Sega to make Spider-Man games. They failed epicly at Iron Man, Thor & Hulk games. They got lucky with Cap.

It had a different developer, and they gave it more love than the rest
Iron Man on the PC/PS2 is alright

I pray that TASM will return to the free roam.

Beenox don't seem to have the time to start the city, maybe if they refine the city in SM2 they could make a win

Seriously, I don't even play games that aren't free roam any more. All games should be free roam. Its 2011. EoT looks like a pile of crap to me and SD looks like crap too. Spider-Man 2 was excellent. 1 thing they should bring back though is the option to play as other characters or have other suits.
the first Spider Man game was great, I had so much fun playing as shocker and green goblin and all the different spider man suits.

The only games I have are Elder Scrolls Oblivion, Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, GTA IV, Red Dead Redemption, Elder Scrolls Morrowind, etc

Free roam is an incredible way to create a great game, but it just won't work with everything.

I agree that if done properly, free roam games make for a better experience. I love Red Dead Redemption. SM2 was awesome as was Ultimate Spider-man.

I am looking forward to Skyrim. I hope it will add to the free roam awesomeness of gaming.

It would be badass if TAS video game was a good free roam game. It probably won't happen cause the development time is gonna be short. Unless they started working on it when the movie was announced.
