Spider-Man as a morality tale?

It isn't a religious message, but I believe the message of Spider-Man is as follows.

"We are who we CHOOSE TO BE!"

But...

"With great power comes great RESPONSIBILITY."

"If you can do good things for other people, you have a moral obligation to do those things.

Not CHOICE.

Responsibility..."

I don't see anything religious in Spider-man, but it's certainly a morality tale.

It's one of the reasons why I find Raimi's films resonate with me more than most comic book movies. The stories are about developing and improving yourself.
