Is it just me or they're letting the shape of the face underneath be more prominent instead of having a shell under it?
It does remind me of Nicholas Hammond's Spidey in this pic.

The shell's still there, it's just been redesigned to be less bulky. It also looks like the jaw area is now a separate piece, so he'll be able to visibly move his mouth with the mask on.

Looks like they're putting an effort on going back to practical filmmaking instead of CGI'ing everything. We'll see if they retain that logic in post-production but I think there's a conscious effort from the studio.

We have few things, but this movie is looking better and better.

Getting the exclusive first pictures and video of the new costume was a smart move, as opposed to the studio bemoaning the leak of grainy, on set, cellphone pics , making their way online.

Given the public filming , it was best just to release the photos ahead of time, as opposed to trying to keep things secret until the first teaser.

So, I'm glad they avoided that common mistakes the studios tend to make.

I also like that Sony is hyping the return of Spider-Man to the big screen and taking the audience along on the ride.

The continued use of Giacchino's music from NWH is encouraging. Hope it means he'll def return, but at the very least it's an indicator Spidey will likely keep his theme.
