LOL oh please.

Mentored and hero-worshipped Tony Stark for a few films there without a single word about one of Stark’s pals being responsible for making him an orphan? I call bull****.
I just hope when Peter's parents are on the trapeze, and Hulk kills them, he is wearing his clown suit...

That way when Bruce Wayne mentors him, ... wait what?

With all of the destruction that took place during The Avengers, Peter must know that -- even if Hulk killed his parents -- it was indirect. I mean, there was so much carnage and chaos that day so like...why the f*** would you pin the blame on The Hulk? It's a dumb twist if true.

Reminds me that they tried to involve The Hulk in Peter's parents backstory in the Ultimate Universe lol.

I do have to say, though, it would give the Sandman twist in Spider-Man 3 a run for its money.
I hope that's not true.

There have been several alleged off the wall, and just weird "scoops" lately, from Hulk killing Peter's Parents, to Peter going to the darkside after he sees his ex has moved on a few years after they broke up, to Sadie Sink being the female villain, whose a shapeshifter.

I think Marvel leaking BS info that they know scoopers will report as gospel .

The only recent rumor which sounds somewhat plausible, is Peter feeling hurt seeing MJ with a new Boyfriend.

But even then , I doubt she's gonna have a big enough role in the film for that to even be a major storyline .

What do you guys think is the likelihood of more casting news in the near future, whether its for villains or side characters?

The stuff about MJ's new boyfriend comes from the Chinese Disney Expo rumors on reddit. See I can read the internet too just like a Rocha.

And you're forgetting another one from Alex Perez, that MIT (yeah that MIT that Ned is attending) is a villainous organization in the movie too. No word yet if Silver Samurai and Viper are going to school there.

"ChatGPT write the most overstuffed and worst Spider-Man movie script seen yet, the kind that would fit into the Sony Spider-Man-less movie universe with Madame Web, Kraven, and Venom."

I think we'll hear more castings for the villians and side characters in the near future , though whether will get names as big as Michael Keaton or Jake Gyllenhaal as a big bad , I dunno.

I tend think the castings will be along the lines we've already heard in terms of lower profile supporting actors as opposed to big names .

I forgot about the Silver Samuri and Viper rumors . Lol.

My guess is the film is gonna be a heck of alot less complicated than all the rumors and gossip claims it is .

I sure there will be a twist or two , but I highly doubt that Shapeshifters, Mutants in disguise , Hulk being Joe Chill, Peter being an obsessed ex boyfriend, or Hobgoblins, are going to be apart of the film.

If the rumored female shapeshifting character is indeed the main villain, I can see them keeping that casting under wraps for as long as possible. Especially for a character like the Chameleon who would presumably be wearing a mask for the majority of the film.

So one of the potential possiblities I thought Sadie Sink could be was Teresa Parker awhile back. And with this whole shapeshifter rumor, I remembered that at the end of the Nick Spencer's run that it was revelaed that she may or may not be a sleeper Chameleon agent pretending to be Peter's sister. In the end, they left it ambigious if it was true or not, but I suppose that could be something they could do if they wanted.

VENOM (SYMBIOTE)

With a bloodthirsty nature, the otherworldly Venom symbiote bonds to heroes and villains, empowering them with spider-like and shapeshifting abilities.

Past and present Spider-Man 4 casting call from gossip hound DanielRPK:

Female Villain - 30s-50s, any ethnicity. A powerful and imposing figure. Seeking an actress with strong and commanding screen presence and depth. Negotiation with someone (doesn't say who)
New Female Lead - A sharp and free-spirited woman with a mysterious past. Strong-willed, intelligent, and not easily intimidated. SET Sadie Sink

New Male Role - A resourceful young man in his early 20s.

New Male Role - 30s-50s, any ethnicity. A no-nonsense authority figure who sees the world in black and white. Loyal, determined, and willing to cross lines to maintain order.”

At least the symbiote would build off what was already established. Not into redoing the Skrulls here again. There’s many much better villains than that.
