I also didn't remember the avenger's memories flooding back or any talk of well any of the points pete brought up to the FF. Ronin is just a more important figure for pete than the FF I guess.

Prior to ASM #591, Peter had not unmasked in front of ANYONE... so that was a big step for him... and maybe it loosened him up a bit for the same situation in NA #51, which chronolically happens after ASM #591...

And let's face it... it's Bendis... he's hit or miss with me, and NA #51 is definitely a "miss", in my opinion.

Agreed, though breevort made a point of saying how NA 51 and ASM 591 were coordinated carefully with no blind spots. I just hated how ronin of all people asks him and he's cool with it but his best friend he's a complete indignant ass to. Pete you ****ed with other people's minds without their permission, you don't get to act mad at them for questioning it.

Oh, speaking of blindspots, can daredevil ever get his memories back, since you apparently need to see pete unmask for the devil magic to reverse?

Thanks. Although you might change your tune when you see my "logic"....

It's sloppy, to say the least. But the 9-yr old inside me who always longed for a no-prize feels compelled to try and explain some of this.

1. Can't argue with this one. In fact, if the NA#51 takes place after Amazing#591, then Pete lies to the Avengers. He tells them that they're the only ones that know. He now comes off as a guy dating multiple women and telling them all that they're "the one."

2. That's easily explained with an off-panel, "Hey, would you guys mind visiting Reed Richards....."

3. I don't know that that was contradicted here. It wasn't shown, but I don't think it has to be every time. The only one who acts like he never knew before is Clint, and he was busy coming back from the dead when Pete did that. Wolverine wouldn't show much emotion either way, Luke was busy being jealous, Jessica and Bobbi weren't even around, Bucky has no history with him. Carol asks about his connection to Norman, but that's not an indictment either way.


So there you go, more proof that guys like us care more about these comics than guys like Bendis.

Oh, it's been said NA 51 is definately after ASM 591 by breevort.

Now for the ladies. Carol I'm curious about as pete has a date planned with her apparently, and how those flooded memories (unmasked pete and carol were not friends at all, but remasked carol likes pete apparently or trusts him or something) work for her. Jessica Jones is another issue. I liked their back and forth but here's my question? Why the **** didn't this come up when pete unmasked originally?

As for your logic: that's about the best we could hope for in the situation I think.

I'm thinking that with the new baby and the SHRA and all that Skrull stuff that Jessica didn't have the time for the Peter Parker high school crush to come out...

And methinks that if DareDevil hears Peter's heartbeat, as opposed to the visual of his face, then it might come back...

I think it's all a bit of a nitpick (albiet a funny one.) i think it has more to do with Peter's intent, whether it be a smell, telepathy or sight. It sure would be nice to know who was the mindwipe accomplice.......

You know what I just noticed. when Pete was in the Macroverse everyone was calling his house phone looking for him. He has a cell phone. Its not that big a deal but I don't know many people who even own a house phone and a cell phone anymore especially if they live in an apartment. It just kind of annoyed me.

I liked the sequence where Sue "blanked out" Peter's face using her invisibility powers after the Torch tried to forcibly unmask him, citing it as a violation of super hero "etiquette"!
