Comics AmAzing Spider-Man 591 time-issue mistake - Slott speaks out

I figured I should post this as I've been *****ing about it. I don't like the mistake, Slott... but I forgive you.
If you haven't read the two part Spidey/Torch story, "Face Front", in AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #590 and #591, please be warned, here come some spoilers...

Okay...

So the Time Distortion problem in ASM #591... What was up with that?
Well, I'll tell you. It's all on me. This one was MY fault. I screwed up while scripting three balloons on PAGE 4. That's all it took. Three balloons.

Here's how it works:
1) We see a scene in the PAST where Spidey and the FF went to the Macroverse.

2) In the PRESENT, Spidey and the FF get ready to return to the Macroverse. Before they go, the Invisible Woman tells the sitter (Alicia Masters) that on their previous journey they LOST 2 DAYS when they came back from the last trip due to the TIME DISTORTION between the two dimensions.

3) When they go back to the Macroverse, Spidey and the FF discover that for the people in that dimension a LIFETIME has passed.

4) Reed explains that they have to go home because TIME IS GOING FASTER ON EARTH.

And this is where a lot of people scratched their heads and went, "Wha...?"

I goofed up. Not in that I got the TIME DISTORTION wrong-- I goofed up in explaining how the TIME DISTORTION works.

Here (thanks to letterer supreme, Joe Caramagna!!!) is a quick fix/patch for your issues. Again, this is my bad. Hope this helps.
