Damn, I hope nobody besides Rhodey shows up in Carol's films. Half of those characters you listed have no place in the movie.

Then what place does Rhodey play? I was listing characters because these new films need something extra to help the sell outside "another hero origin". Like Falcon in Ant-Man. Besides Im sure Marvel could find an excuse for any character they want to cameo in a film.

Doctor Strange is doing it just fine, & Carol falls in the same ballpark as Strange. And what makes Rhodey fit in the movie? hmm.. Maybe because they're both Majors from the Airforce and even romantically involved in the new Captain Marvel comics (tho, I don't want that to happen in the MCU becuz Cheadle might be a little too old for the actress)

Thanks for the explanation. Also we haven't seen anything enough from Strange to say another MCU character wont be appearing. Then again, Cumberbatch is a big name. I'm far from sexist but female solo films dont really do that good on there own as we can see from the likes of Lucy, Elektra and Catwoman. Granted this is the MCU and that could change. But I just want them to do what they can to ensure the films success.
