I would have think about Anna too, she would have been just like a tease for MJ introduction but there's no way when May is actually 50 yo :|.

Since Tony is in the movie ,I am hoping that she is playing Mrs Arbogast.

She's like, 70 years old and looks way older than Keaton... I said Aunt May because I'm reminded of DR's idea from months ago. Who knows, maybe she's the real Aunt May... I mean, Peter never said 'Aunt' May?

Anna Watson could be a woman who lives in the apartment complex with the parkers.. who's been kind of a mother figure to May since Ben passed.. and comes over and gives May advice and flour to make her wheat cakes lol

just a friendly neighbor who jokes with peter "you should meet my niece" you too would be perfect together" and peter would eye roll and dread this 70 year old wants to hook him up

Tyne Daly looks more like Michael Keaton's mother than his wife.

It's like George Bush Sr. Did anyone really think Barbara looked like his wife or more like his mother?

They referenced Bambi Arbogast in Iron Man 2 but I don't think we saw her. It would be nice if we did now that Pepper Potts has disappeared. Maybe Mrs Arbogast could be her replacement.

But in the comics Mrs Arbogast also had a sister that Tony kept literally running into as a running gag. She thought very low of Stark.

Toomes also doesn't need a wife.. he works best as a lonely old man

"fine" is one thing... believable and easier to swallow.. is another.

I personally wouldn't buy a relationship between Keaton and her... and the general public likely wouldn't either

I would say so. It would make him more bitter and angry, which is what Vulture should be. It would rub his old age in his face because he feels that he's going to die alone. If he has someone in his life, it's a very different feel.

totally.. not to mention its kinda been done to death... via the raimi films.. the sympathetic villain trope does not need so heavily pushed.

Vulture should be akin to Scrooge or Jonah. Both are miserable grouchy unreasonably selfish people.. but at the same time you kinda love them and feel sorry for them.. you kinda see right through them

As stated before, if they make her his wife then, to me, it seems like they're just using Raimi leftovers. What I mean is, he had planned or it was rumored the 4th movie was going to have Vulture have a daughter and a possible wife. Toomes doesn't need both. We've been there and done that with too many villains where they are family men and just trying to do right but then there's an accident or circumstance that turns them into a monster.

I want to see Toomes just be an inventor who wasn't taken seriously, had his research taken from him from Oscorp, fired, and then wants revenge. That's it.
