I don't understand how Sony picks that shot of unmasked Spider-Man on the metal scaffolding next to the water to be the very first thing we see in the trailer. It's so obviously green screen. Almost looks like The Room level of CGI.

I dunno why they always insist on cringe humor. And yeah there was zero need to have a big fan event. Like absolutely zero ****ing need. Makes no sense.

I'm torn, a bit under whelming, I disliked Otto name and Scooby-Doo jokes. Raimi Otto would have shredded them to pieces. Some of the CGI is too cartoonish, Raimi and Webbs CGI still hold up. I'm particularly fond on the storyline being portrayed but I' hope it plays out great.

Enjoyed nod to Electros mask, loved seeing Sandman and GG. It looks like Goblin suit gets damaged, in two shots it looks different almost like Franco's Goblin but I'm sure it will be closer to the leaked concept art.

I LOVED Ottos - You are not Peter Parker line. I think that's the best confirmation we have that Tobey will be in it and it will have a payoff in the final trailer and/or movie.

I started getting chills at the Gwen fall homage but but realized it was Zendaya MJ and was hoping for a splatt. I'm confident they will have Andrew be the one saving her.

I'm torn, it seems like it's trying to be dark and serious like the previous installments but then they mix in the MCU humor which I'm not a fan of. Really want to get excited but am managing my expectations. I have not been a fan of MCU spidey movies.

Seriously what is up with the crappy god awful cgi that’s in this movies when they are up close. My god it’s just regressing movie after movie.

Again, after rewatching it, it’s the Disney style humor that’s killing me. Why are Ned and Mj laughing at Doc Ock? Scooby doo this crap? I mean how is any of this considered funny in the slightest.

The second trailer was completely pointless. Shame on you, Sony.

Yep, pushing aside my feelings this easily could have been the first trailer.

they took a big risk not revealing anything major tonight, even when it would have worked in sony's favor financially. Marvel should do everything they possibly can to make sure nothing else gets out till the movie hits theaters. If they don't and more stuff leaks, this whole thing will have been for nothing.

The Otto Octavius joke pained my soul on first watch along with the fast pace and subtitles. I know it's the type of humor these movies do but it's pretty yeesh.

That particular joke feels extra dumb.

Sigh, I feel a bit deflated. Like there was cool stuff in that trailer but as a trailer it was not put together well at ALL. No build up, no momentum, no proper introdution of the antagonists and the stakes, AWFUL humor that took me out of the moment, and most importantly NO END STINGER. A cool badass end moment like Cap and Bucky vs Iron Man or The Avengers rushing towards the camera in Wakanda or, idk, SOMETHING cool to hook you. I watched the trailer three times and I dont feel hyped and that really bothers me.

There was a costume of Goblin leaked not too long ago which could be what Dafoe is wearing in this instance. He wears two different costumes in this, it's still him.

Yeah exactly, JJJ was making the joke in the movie and it was delivered well. This was presented to us in a trailer that up til then is serious, then hits the brakes to joke about his name.

The strange joke was horrible but the doc ock moment tops that. Why is the MCU so aggressive with how they push Ned and MJ in our faces? We don’t need them in the trailer especially Ned. I get that these movies specialize in that cheesy style
