Does anyone know how to make realistic looking movie webs. I dont mean the raised webbing on the suit I mean the crap that he shoots out of his wrists. Or if anyone wants to we could tackle this situation together.

Find 3 species of spider, combine their DNA into 1 spider, get bitten by it, and voila! I dunno, silly string?

hey if ur talking about just for film, or to take pics. then i knwo what 2 do. and if u want to swing from them. get siran rap, and take three long lengsths of it tie one end to the dorr or anything, then twist the 2 around the middle 1. Ill put up pics

if u dont want it strechy, and want to swing, put rope of some sort. I could swing on mine 185 pounds, but i would sugest some sort of strong rope

that looks awesome. Do you braid it or just wrap it around each other?

mix of both, u can also put nots, in liek in some comics, and add some clear gelly to make it gooy and more shiny

You can twist tape around too. It's just for looks, not for swinging.

That would look alot like a real web though.^

Still a nice idea.

When I was a kid I used to watch the old Spider-man tv show and I figured out how they did him shooting webs. Me and my friends used to freak people out at school when I'd show them how I could use my webshooter.
I'd make a length of stuff kinda like Spiderfan actually (usually 6-8 ft. long) and put it up the sleeve of my long sleeve shirt. To the end of it I would tie to a strand of fishing line. I'd stand about 5 or 6 feet away from a post or pole or something and one of my friends would wrap the fishin line once or twice around it them move away from the pole still stringing the fishing line. At my cue, when I held out my arm and curled my fingers into my palm my friend would pull the fishing line. It would pull the web out of my sleeve. it would follow the fishing line and wrap around the pole. My friend would stop pulling when the end of the "web" wrapped around the pole. With practice we could do it with the right speed and it looked awesome. We made it even better when another friend would time my shooting of the web with a short blast from a can of compressed air making the sound of the webshooter. I gotta tell ya we freaked out many students and teachers!
